Half Day Tour To Memphis Sakkara And Dahshur Pyramids

Good tour. Dedicated tour guide. Smooth and comfortable ride. Just wish the tour can last longer because there are so many wonderful things to see. It would be great if the tour operators can offer a full day tour.

Zainab and Ahmad were great! We had an amazing day with them. Zainab gave us a lot of historical context and answered all our questions. Ahmad was super careful and thoughtful throughout the whole drive. Super recommend both of them.

Our guide (Mohammed Moussy) was fantastic. He made us feel welcome as guests, sought to do what we wanted to do at the sites and was extremely informative and knowledgeable. The pyramids at Saqqara and Dashur were quite impressive and we went inside two of them. Memphis was a brief stop, but interesting

We had a late lunch because we stayed so long at the sites and it was delicious and filling. Our driver was careful by Egyptian standards and did not drive like a madman.

Even though we visited during peak tourist season, there were no crowds and no waiting in lines. We could even photograph some of the pyramids with no other tourists in the photos.

This was an essential part of our tour before visiting the Giza Pyramids and it did not disappoint. Our guide was knowledgeable the vehicle clean and the driver able. Saqqara is one of the richest archaeological sites in the country - its monuments span 3ooo years. We were able to enter the Red Pyramid via a passage on its north face down a long shaft of about 150 steps. An amazing thing to do. We enjoyed Dahshur and the Mortuary Temple complex relatively free of the vast crowds experienced elsewhere . Memphis was excellent and so was the lunch! All in all we had a great introduction to Ancient Egypt.

A chance to see the unique step pyramid of Djoser, the pyramids of Unas and Teti at Saqquara. Then on to Dahshur which is off the main tourist trail; we were almost alone inside the Red Pyramid. It was disappointing not to get to the Bent Pyramid as implied by the trip notes and they should be more explicit. This trip could easily be expanded slightly to a full day taking in the other Pyramids at Dahshur and ie the Serapeum at Saqqara

A great historical overview of the Sakkara, Dasher, and Memphis areas with tour guid Essam and driver Hacham. Essam goes above and beyond as a tour guide. The highest quality guide I have encountered, with exceptional knowledge and the ability to translate hieroglyphics instantly. Amazing tour, 5 stars!

Tour was rushed, missed several parts of it. The guide had no knowledge in Egyptian history and was more interested to bring us to the shops to get commissions from the sales. We actually had to demand to climb inside the pyramid as part of regular admission. Absolutely horrible experience.

Thanks to Fatima for a great experience of the pyramids! She was really kind and had a lot of knowledge about the pyramids and the history of Egypt! We really enjoyed being able to enter both of the pyramids at Dashur! Awesome experience all around!
