This trip was a fantastic way to start our trip to Egypt. We wanted to get the big ticket items out of the way by seeing the Giza pyramids on the first day after flying in and it was a great choice. Our tour guide Ola was amazing and made the tour all the better while giving great background info for every sight we went to. She was so good that we booked multiple other tours of Cairo with her as well. Overall this is a great option for seeing this biggest sight in Cairo.

Whats also nice is how the camel ride was included since a lot of the camel ride options at the pyramids can rip you off since they only ask for payment once your trying to get off the camel. And if you're up to it Id recommend climbing into the great pyramid. Its a pretty tough trek since the passage is extremely narrow and traffic flows both ways, but a really cool experience if you can manage.

Collection was simple, from outside the hotel with Ali, a short drive to the pyramids where everything was pointed out to us, how to get tickets, where they would ask for them, what it covered, etc.

Despite previous reviews, the site was pretty quiet, apparently tourism is down 95% due to Israel/Gaza. But at no time did we feel unsafe, on the contrary it felt safer and quieter than any attractions in London.

After seeing the pyramids, going inside them, stops for photos, seeing the sphinx, and getting lots of interesting facts and information, the tour concluded with the obligatory papyrus museum stop. There was no hard sell even with the low tourist numbers, so we bought a couple of items as mementos anyway.

Around midday the tour was over and they accommodated dropping us at a museum as opposed to at the hotel.

In summary, the tour was fantastic, Ali was great, the area around the pyramids was clean and hassle free, and obviously the pyramids and the sphinx are one of the most impressive things you will ever see.

Summer was an amazing guide! She taught us lots of Egyptian history and gave great general travel tips. The half day pyramids tour is more than enough time to spend at the pyramids and also stopped at nice shopping locations.

Summer was both knowledgeable and a most able photographer! We so appreciated her attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our every need. A wonderful experience made even better by our acquaintance with our new friend.

Our tour guide was Nagwan, who appeared to be very punctual, well-informed and helpful throughout the entire tour. She constantly poured some interesting information about the Pyramids and its surrounding, being very kind and polite, while also offering some help with making funny photos near this majestic historical monument. The only downside was the final quarter of the tour, when me & my wife were escorted into some shops with "authentic" papyrus & essential oils and left alone, just to be persuaded by the shop owners/staff to buy something there. I presume it's just how business works in these lands, so whatever. For anyone concerned - a firm "no" would do just fine, there is no vile scheme in it per-se. Just people trying to make living.

Highly recommended! Ali Nagoya was a brilliant guide; very good communication before the trip, picked us up exactly on time from our hotel, and then made the whole morning interesting/fun/exactly what we hoped for. The whole trip was slick and well organised, the history/commentary which Ali shared was great, very much worth having a private guide! He showed us all the best sites, and acted as our professional photographer for the morning :) ticking off one of the 7 wonders of the world was well worth it!!

Just seeing them in person is so much different and better than seeing them in magazines. And the camel ride was very nice.

What an amazing day! I was lucky enough to have Wael (l hope l spelt that right) He and his driver turned up at my requested time to pick me up from the airport. I was a solo traveller and he made me feel very safe. He was extremely knowledgeable because he told me that he grew up close to the Pyramids and his father and grandfather were also tour guides. Lots of information to take in from a true local! The sites were amazing. I opted for the camel ride which took me to a great spot for views, and lunch which was very nice and the restaurant also had lovely views. I stuck with Wael the whole time and nobody hassled me because l was with him. He even went out of his way to extend my tour to the papyrus museum and the perfume factory because he knew l had a long wait in the evening at the airport. Nothing was too much trouble and l highly recommend this tour. Thanks so much Wael.
