I thought the tour was a very good quick pass at wine country. We got to taste wines at two places and spend 30 min walking around downtown Stellenbosch. It’s not for those who want an immersive experience but it’s exactly as advertised and I’m glad I did it.

What a FUN experience visiting the lovely vineyards with a small group. Lots of good conversation, sipping wine, and laughter. The countryside was so beautiful!

I enjoyed the tour. Particularly enjoyed Marianne Wine Estate which was beautiful and had wines that I found interesting, in some parts complex and drinkable. Our tour guide was also very knowledgeable about South African history and the historical and demographic development of the area which added to the overall expenses.

It was a wonderful tour with an amazing well learned tour guide. Wuhyo (pardon my spelling) made the trip educational and joyful from the get go followed by two wine estate visits. For someone who doesn’t not know wine like wine enthusiasts and wine lovers, there was Alot of learning and fun that happened . American Eagle did not falter in communication or prep of the tour. Kudos to the team on keeping such tours open for the visitors. Stellenbosch was a pleasure and the historic background made my day!

Dylan was a safe driver and personable as he pointed out sights during the tour, including grazing elands and zebras. He was punctual and also flexible in picking me up at a location other than my hotel, so my morning was free to explore other activities.
The wines were paired with cheeses at both vineyards, and the pours were plentiful.
A half day wine tasting provided time to explore other activities in the morning.

The guide Jan was very kind and flexible. I only did the half day tour but in hindsight would have preferred to do the full day.
