This tour will bring you to the Maeklong Railway Market (umbrella pulldown market) by local train and then continue to visit Damnoensaduak Floating Market. This is often considered the most famous floating market in Thailand.

It was a great experience firstly going through the markets on the train then standing to watch it return. The boat trip in the floating markets was crazy busy, make sure you barter with the traders to get a better price for your souvenirs. It guide was brilliant and so well organised. All in all a great day.

Good half day in the market ! The guide was very nice but it was sometimes hard to hear what he was saying in the car, due to the low volume of the mic. And perhaps we felt a bit rushed, especially for the train market (if you wanted to buy something you had to be quick otherwise you loose your group). But in general, it was a very good day !

This was a fun tour although the journey was rather long. We visited salt mines and then got on a train to the train market. What an experience to see the market as you pull into the station. Our guide (Miss One?) was really sweet and looked like she was enjoying the experience as much as us. The floating market was great too and it was very enjoyable to go through the markets on the boats. Although people say this tour is a waste of time, if you are first timers in Thailand as we were, then this is a tour that should not be missed.

This was an awesome and budget friendly half day excursion to view the Railway and Floating market.
Our guide Jum was knowledgeable, humorous and kind and made this a truly great experience. She had great recommendations all around and if you get her as a guide you will be most fortunate too :) Kudos to her and the operator for this tour! ❤️

I read so much about that this is a tourist trap and was hesitate of booking, but it was actually very fun, I learned the history, get a taste of riding the local train and had the experience of riding the long boat. I had the best coconut ice cream there and I wish to have way more.
