The sunset was good. Tanah Lot is ver picturesque. That said it is not the nicest by any means and is surrounded by tourist traps. If you have to choose between this temple and some other one, I would choose something else.

We took the 5D4N tour from Bali Golden Tour. The tour was well organized, despite the hot weather travelling in a private car that is clean and with good air conditioning was comfy and added to the good experience. Overall the pace was relaxing and we do not feel rushed. Highly recommendable for anyone looking for a private tour.

Our guide Arta was fantastic. He is warm, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He speaks very good English and explained very well the history & culture of the places. Arta helped to take many great photos throughout the 5D4N tour. He also gave us good recommendation on where to get food, we managed to taste the best babi guling in town thanks to Arta!

Kadek was a nice driver, polite and thoughtful. Also have a good tour of the temples. We had our baby son and Kadek was always conscious of making sure he was safe and secure.

Darma from Bali Golden Tours showed us around three temple complexes today. He is very friendly and clearly on great terms with the other locals. What stood out was his mastery of photography, busting out tricks we never even considered with our phones. If you have an instagram obsessed girlfriend, you should ask for him specifically! Even if you don’t, frankly, because we had a great time!
