Explore the rainforest on a journey full of history and different natural gems. We visit the East side of El Yunque Rainforest to enjoy a 30-minute hike to the first waterfall. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing, or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a waterslide and cliff jump into the river. Learn about the history of the rainforest, iguanas, guava trees, bamboo, and 100-year-old trees. This adventure is good for those looking to enjoy nature and an authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. Good physical condition required as the hike is in pure nature, very muddy, and fun. We meet in Fajardo, where you will follow the guide driving your own vehicle from the meeting point until we reach the rainforest. Transportation not included. Uber and taxis are not allowed. Good physical condition required. No flip flops. Enjoy a real adventure full of nature and waterslides in the rainforest.

Anthony was a wonderful guide! He was very knowledgeable, funny, & informative. He took the time to take photos & videos for our memories. We started on time with Anthony providing good communication. My family and I felt safe and had a blast! My son’s favorite part was the cliff jumping. I loved learning about the rainforest along the way. The four hour tour was the way to go for us because it was a moderately challenging hike. We had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend.

So much fun! Our guide Papi Chulo ? was fun and helped make this feel personal by getting us to the slide, jump, and swing spots without crowds. Our small group was trusted (not required to wear helmets and lifevests), and we got to go more than once without people waiting for us. The trek was muddy and wet and felt like an adventure!! Worth it.

John and Daniel (poncho) were amazing guides. They were very skilled and knowledgeable. They assisted everyone with the terrain along the way and took video and photos to help us capture this awesome morning. Would highly recommend. But be prepared : wear shoes appropriate for hiking in mud and water and participants should be able to climb steep and rocky paths.

Anthony was a fantastic guide in the rainforest! He was knowledgeable, fun and encouraging throughout our trip. Anthony took great videos for us of the water slides and rope swing! Would absolutely recommend Anthony and Spotin Tours! And dress appropriately, you will get muddy!

Although it had just rained and the trail was really muddy, this adventure was a highlight of our trip! The waterslide was awesome and our 17 and 21-year-old boys LOVED the rope swing and jumping off the cliffs into the clear water. The hike is a bit challenging in a few areas, but overall, it is not that long or taxing. Juan was an informative guide and knew exactly where to take family photos along the way. Take your camera and only wear shoes and clothing that you do not mind getting muddy!

This was so much fun and Ivan was an awesome guide. Highly recommend for anyone. It's not a difficult hike, but be aware you will get muddy and it's slippery so wear really good shoes with tread, or you will have a hard time. Also, I like that once you get to the waterfalls, you do not have to do the slides or rope if you're not comfortable. You can hang out in the water while others go. Thank you Spotin for a great time!!
