Our guides are fully qualified and have extensive knowledge of the area. Not only will you learn about the history, landscape and present day life on this tour you will also hear Icelandic folktales. This is a round trip through some of the most picturesque landscape in North Iceland.
The total tour length is 4 hours. All travel time is included in that length. We first drive for approximently 35 min to Goðafoss, then another 30 min to Laufas Turfhouse Museum. From Laufas there is then another 30 min drive to the beautiful Christmas House & Gardens. After visiting the Christmas house we drive a short sightseeing around the town of Akureyri before dropping the passenger off. This is a fully guided, informative and enjoyable tour, all entrance fee is included in the tour price.

The tour guide was so very good that I learned much I didn't know. He was the best tour guide I had on the entire tour. His storytelling was beyond a mere tour of the sights. I also enjoyed tremendously the areas we visited.

Good tour to Godafoss and Laufas. Good places to visit.
I did not like the Christmas house, I think It shouldn’t be part of the tour. I think more time on Godafoss would have been better.

A lovely tour to the waterfall with some fantastic views with a trip to the Laufas; I only wish we had a little more time at the Christmas House, as I felt half an hour wasn't sufficient; however a lovely tour which I would recommend.

Our driver was very good and helpful with my walker. It was a beautiful day and the falls were beautiful. I also enjoyed the old turf houses. It is worth the trip to see the area away from town.

Tour very well organised visiting main attractions of Akureyri. Much better and cheaper than cruise ship excursion. Easy pick up from port.
