The time spent in Braga and the lunch were the best parts. The tour guide is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food is delicious and the staff at the restaurant very helpful.

Fantastic and fabulous tour! The guide, Bruno, was amazing, so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! You could tell he really loved the area and truly cared about the experience of his guests. Don't miss out on this! I took more than seven tours in Portugal and this was by far my favorite!

My mother and I had a tour with Rodrigo and had an amazing time visiting Braga and Guimarães. Rodrigo was very personable and explained all the history and stories associated with all of the places we visited. It is very obvious that this company builds relationships with the places that we visited- we met amazing vendors, the restaurant was wonderful, and this tour was the highlight of our trip to Porto! Luckily, we were able to have a tour that coincided with the celebration of St. Gerald and Rodrigo made sure to show us the festivities and explained everything. I cannot recommend Rodrigo and Cooltour Oporto enough!

Rodrigues provided a fascinating look at the life and history of these two ancient towns. The day just flowed punctuated by a delicious lunch in Braga with free time to dodge the drops. The small Mercedes van was a comfortable and intimate way to travel. Would highly recommend this tour provider and guide if you are looking for a unique excursion!

My husband and I took this tour and really enjoyed learning about Braga and Guimaraes. Miguel was an excellent tour guide and filled us in on so much history! At Braga, we decided not to climb the many, many stairs up to the top, but when we got to the top (by van), the whole complex is just breathtaking and the views are incredible!

Braga and Guimaraes are soooo beautiful! Very well preserved old cities with great history. Our guide Joao is the best ambassador of Portugal! Informative and thoughtful, taking very good care of us during the heavy rain. We enjoyed the tour even though weather is not perfect.

Jouen was an absolutely fantastic guide….happily answering any and all questions, and providing information at every step of the way. Lunch was excellent, and a nice afternoon treat at a bakery was a pleasant surprise. One of our best tour experiences ever, mostly because of our guide. Obrigado Jouen!
