We enjoyed the spectacle of Sintra, especially seeing the awesome gardens surrounding the palaces. Ending our day in Cascais made the beauty of the day complete. Pedro our tour guide was knowledgeable and considerate of each member of the small group. He worked hard to ensure that we would have lovely memories of these special places.

We loved the whole valley, the only negative was the amount of tourists, but that happens on the most iconic turist places world-wide.

Alc was the best. He grew up there and is very knowledgeable . Great sense of humor and very accommodating with all people in our group. We had a great time and saw many things. Lunch was extremely good Highlight of my trip. Highly recommended

Really good tour and Alex showed us all the best spots and got us in to the venues before everyone else to beat the crowds and queues. Punctual pick up, modern van. One thing that I would like to see an improvement on would be the vegan option for eating on the tour. The vegan options were quite limited and the restaurant we ate at had a lot of seafood already on the table when we arrived. Alex did his best with the options available on a Sunday though. Would recommend this for anyone wanting to see the best parts of Sintra.

Alex is a fantastic tour guide. He really worked hard as driver and guide. He explained many things. History, geography etc. I enjoyed the day so much more because of him. You MUST take this tour with him!

Our guide was Xande who is very knowledgeable but did not meet our expectations for the trip. We learned a lot while still in the van but the actual tour was chaotic as Xande was only talking to one or two people next to him. He skipped many good places for taking pictures and we felt lost a couple of times at Pena Palace as he didn’t wait for us.
The lunch was the biggest disappointment of the day. Everything except the main course was for sharing. The starters were poor quality sea food only but Xande brought some cheese/prosciutto after we asked. The drinks were not good either. We weren’t offered to choose the desserts and we had to share the ones served with the whole group.
We found it very unprofessional when we asked for a restroom and we were told by Xande that we will have to “sort it out by ourselves”.
Overall, the tour covers some amazing spots and a lot of must see attractions. However, we were disappointed from our guide and from the fact that we spent too much time in the restaurant instead of Cabo da Roca for example.

Excellent experience. Our guide was local to Sintra, very informative and helpful. Small group aspect was nice. Lunch was very good value.

Our guide was Pedro. He was truly the best tour guide we have ever had or could have imagined. He was so much fun and so knowledgeable that our group bonded and even had more fun. Sintra was beautiful, and Pedro brought it to life. We cannot stress how this tour enlightened us about Portugal and we will truly be back.

Despite the gloomy and rainy weather, we had a fantastic experience. The tour was comprehensive and very well-planned. Every place we visited was very special and beautiful. Quinta da Regalleira is a must see.
What made this experience so great was our amazing guide, Andrè. He was very knowledgeable, personable, really engaging, and highly-organized. Due to Andrè’s diligent approach and timeliness, our long day was very smooth and quite enjoyable.
We also loved the most delicious lunch at a local eatery.
All in all, an excellent experience. Thank you!
