It was fine and we learned a lot about the history of Brazil and the forest. The hike were very short walks, probably 1/2 mile total. The jeep ride was fun and the boys were great. Sorry we didn't see and animals.

The ride was beautiful but our tour guide needed to be a little more knowledgeable about the activities!

We had the most amazing time on this tour. It was worth every penny. If you are looking to learn about the rainforest and are a lover of nature you’ll love this tour.

We had a private tour for our honeymoon and the tour guides made it extra special for us. Pick up was prompt, the jeep was spacious & safe. The hike was very manageable, fun, and exciting. I definitely recommend the tour.

First we were asked to hike in 100 degrees..the guide first told her it’s 5 mins hike, once we got to the park, she said we can’t take the car we have to walk. 5 mins became 15 mins and we had 2 hours of hike. I am unsure where on the tour does it specify 2 hours hike in 100 degree weather.
She tried to make up for it but what happened now is that our entire trip got ruined we didn’t get to see any of the other spots around the national park

We recently completed this tour while in Rio. They arrived to our hotel with the Jeep, we had a tarp over the top keeping us cool. Most Jeeps didn’t have the tarp option. We headed straight to the Rainforest for various walking trails to view waterfall and nature spotting. We only saw 2 monkeys, a butterfly, and heard the toucans. After, we were dropped back off to the hotel. There were a couple of bathroom options along route. Also, we had a small group, it was 5 of us, which made for an excellent experience. I recommend wearing long sleeves/pants, hat, bring sunscreen, and BUG SPRAY (we didn’t get bit because we dressed properly). Our driver Emmerson and our guide Emilia were FANTASTIC, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. I recommend this dynamic duo for your tour.

Tijuca Rain Forest is beautiful and we had great weather and the guides were nice. However from reading the description I expected more hiking and less time spent driving, stopping for picture taking or stopping to go in the water. Total time spent in a hiking trail was less then 40 minutes. For the price paid we really did not get what we paid for.

The tour description stated that we were going to be in the national park walking for 2 hours we actually stayed for one hour and 10 minutes. that included 10 minutes stoped at a waterfall . The tour guide seem in a hurry.
Not worth the $$.

This tour was just okay, just a way to be able to see a bit of the forest when travelling solo as it's not recommended exploring it on your own.
The guide was friendly but barely had any information to give, if you want to learn do your own research or take the time to read the touristic signs.
The tour only involved a 10 minutes walk but other than that you're just riding in the jeep. When the weather is nice it must be great, but it was raining on the day I went, and the opaque tarp meant we didn't really see as much of the scenery. It more or less protected us from the rain except for the people who were placed under cracks in the tarp who got fully drenched.
This tour needs some improvements in my opinion, maybe an actually waterproof roof that is see-through, and a guide with more knowledge to share. Depending on how much you're paying for it, this tour might or might not be worth it.
