Amazing experience, medium difficulty hike, awesome view of the volcano and lake gorgeous from the viewpoint, canoa y kayak a the small lake of the ecological park arenal volcano funny.

We arrived at the Parque Ecologico Volcan Arenal at 4pm. Unfortunately we were a bit late and the park was about to close. Nonetheless the Guide at the reception decided to give es an exclusive tour to the top. He taught us much about the endemic nature and the best places to visit in this park. We arrived at the top of the trail at the perfect time, since the sun was about to fall and the volcano was fully exposed to the yellow/orange sunset light. It was really exceptional. Even at the end, way past the guides working ours, he took up his time to show us the nocturnal life of the parc.
Together with my friends this was one of the best experiences we had in Costa Rica.

On February 18 we decided to stop as an option to take the tour, it was not toin pur initial plane and it was cloudy and we could not see the volcano. We were told how the park works and what it was included, the price, time to discover it, so far so good. There were also friendly jokes about spaniards.
We had a very tight time in our planning and we decided to think for 10 minutes if it worth or not to stop for such long time, we did not spend even 5min when the man in charge started to talk in bad forms:
- "You must leave from here, you Spaniards always doing the same, to be parked and chatting just leave" , also said "you already stole our gold" XD really? Well uneducated personal in the end
Embarrassing behavior, we were insulted and outraged when we were always respectful and pleasant.
Embarrassing, don't go.
