We took several tours, but this was easily one of our favorites. Andrew was really knowledgeable and we could tell how passionate he is about making a great rum. We learned about the history of rum production in addition to seeing it, and we even learned about sugarcane, which I really liked. We enjoyed the tasting and bought two great bottles. Andrew was just an excellent guide. He gave us some restaurant recommendations at the end of the tasting. We didn't have a single bad meal in New Orleans, but the most amazing dishes and cocktails we had were at places he suggested that we never would have gone to otherwise. We even had to go back to Latitude 29 a second time. Once was not enough... And as much as we loved the tour and culinary coaching, my favorite thing about it was that we even got to get a souvenir "bottle" for our dog.

Tour was very educating about making rum. It is a small facility and the tour groups are small which made it nice to be able to ask questions. Andrew was an awesome our guide.

We lucked out and we’re the only ones in our tour group so we had Andrew’s full attention. He patiently and skillfully answered all of our questions while providing extra historical information about the process. Very interesting & enjoyable. Hubby loved the Rum!!
