Come explore the coolest neighborhood in NYC. We make our way through iconic Washington Square Park and its famous arch. Learn about how the park, which movies like 'I Am Legend,' 'Searching For Bobby Fischer' and 'August Rush' were filmed at, and eat our way through town. Learn something, eat something, love everything!

Meeting point and ending point. We finish up at this award-winning cupcake place. It’s too-cool-for-school with desks, retro lunch boxes and even swings. Oh and cupcakes to die for.

The best falafel you’ll ever have in Manhattan or perhaps anywhere. It’s no surprise they’ve been around since 1971 - the longest Middle Eastern spot in all of New York.

This West Village institution is renowned for their namesake pizza and while they have other delicious pizzas, we go with their double-crusted, creamy work of art: the artichoke slice. And no you don’t have to like artichokes to love this slice!

Pommes Frites has the best fries in the city or probably anywhere. Authentic Belgian fries that are double cooked and topped with extraordinary sauces - choose from over 30! Also - beer on tap and wine selection are available for purchase and YES we will be there long enough to finish it.

We will try the world famous and food network favorite nonna Maria pizza. Also, beer and wine available for purchase
6. Washington Square Park
Washington Square Park is legendary. You’ve seen it in a ton of films, it’s the unofficial campus of NYU students and you’ll see some of the coolest people in the city here. Feed pigeons. Hear musicians and watch street performers. You never know what to expect. Oh except for the mighty arch which is, of course, renowned.

No, there isn’t really a Central Perk and yes, they filmed Friends in Los Angeles ...but for you 'Friends' fans, you can check out the outside of their apartment. They shot the facade footage here. Clap clap clap clap.
8. The Stonewall Inn
The Stonewall Inn is such a huge historical site - literally and figuratively. We pass by the prideful institution as well as its new statue which was installed to commemorate it’s 50th anniversary.

Faicco's has so many items that will make your mouth water. We sample their arancini (rice ball) and sopressata (salami) and I promise you, these bite sized delights pack a culinary punch that last long after the tour.

Ian was FANTASTIC. He was funny knowledgeable and kept the perfect pace for our group. You need to do this tour not only for the scenery but for the phenomenal food! Artichoke pizza for the win!

This tour was fantastic! I’d never done a food tour and loved it! Not only did we eat lots of great food, but we got to see cultural and historic sites in the neighborhood and David had great late night hot spot recommendations too! Loved that the tour was small and that they were able to accommodate at least one food preference (vegetarian). Highly recommend!!

Nice Guy Tours is an apt description of Dante the owner and guide on our tour. We visited a variety of food locations in the Village and Dante shared history and stories from the area. The walking is minimal on this tour, so if you have limited mobility, it would likely be doable. We had 2 pizzas (Artichoke Pizza was the best), falafel, Belgian fries, a rice/cheese ball concoction and a delicious cupcake!

Had a wonderful afternoon with Adam in the Greenwich Village food tour! Super knowledgeable about all the historic sites during our walk and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a great time. I highly recommend it when you come to New York.

We had an absolute blast. The walk was easy, the food was excellent, and our guide was amazing. Not only did he know about every place we went and all the places in between, but he told stories along the way of how things evolved to the way they were now. Really one of the best tours we've ever been on.

We had Ian as our tour guide and he was a great guide. Met up at Molly's and enjoyed every stop there after. The history and stories in between the food tasting was great and got some good knowledge along the way. Great tour!

Great fun and a way to tour the Village and try good food! Lots of fun for us as a couple. Host was knowledgeable, funny and friendly. Food was varied and unique. Tour showed classic highlights of Greenwich Village but also areas off the beaten path.

Absolutely excellent food and walking tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide Ian was spectacular. He knew so much about the area - both modern and historical references - and was really fun and entertaining. The food was awesome, and I feel like we definitely got a bang for our buck. Highly recommend!
