Had a fantastic day. Port Arthur was great as a self paced tour. Isle of the Dead had some interesting insights. Phil gave us some fascinating information about Tasmania and had a never ending supply of dad jokes

We’ve had the best day touring a lovely part of Tasmania. Colin our guide was funny (or tried to be?), professional and gave us some commentary along the way, but not too much, just enough to keep it light and interesting.
A very quick stop at Richmond (would have loved a little time to explore this cute town but understand time was a factor for this day trip).
The tour around Port Arthur and the cruise out to Isle of the Dead and short walking tour were all included in what we purchased.
This was a great way to enjoy a day of sightseeing without the worry of having to hire a car.
Both my husband and I would highly recommend Grayline tours and thank the team at Grayline and Port Arthur for such a great and memorable day!

Evan was our guide. Very friendly and informative had a lovely tour to Port Arthur via Richmond with the remarkable cave at the end. We had a fun and enjoyable day.

A good day with varied sightseeing. Not enough time to view all of Port Arthur as had included the ferry tour and isle of the dead. Harbour tour wasted time that could have been better spent but enjoyed the isle. Enjoyed all other sites. The driver was very helpful and his "dad" jokes were thick and fast.

The experience was great but left us wanting more. We didn't get to the settlement until after 11, left on the boat cruise/Isle of the Dead tour at 12:30 which was great and lasted close to an hour. After that we chose to leave the settlement to see Remarkable Cave at 2:30. All in all we spent around 2 hours actually exploring the site. This was not nearly enough and we only saw half of what was available.

The knowledge of the area by our driver Harry and the terrible history of port arthur which is part of Australian history as a prison preety hard times in those days...

Highly recommend. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, shared lots of interesting facts throughout bus trip. Port Arthur and Isle of the dead tour a must if you’re visiting Tasmania. Had a great day!
