We absolutely loved our tour! The pilot was great both going in and returning. Definitely recommend this has to be the best way to see the Grand Canyon.

The experience was awesome.. only complaint is that once we got to the grand canyon we did not have a lot of time to view anything it was rushed to make sure we were back to fly back..

We booked the 8:00 trip so pickup from hotel at 06:15. Pickup was on time
At Boulder for 07:30 and base had shop for drinks and snacks. We took no bags but did see a few people with bags
Staff were very friendly and explained the trip and times for activities
Flight left at 08:05 and flew over Hoover Dam on the way to the Canyon. Also flew threw the canyon and Eric the pilot was able to narrate and answer questions along the way
We arrived at around 09:00 and were told return flight at 11:30
First stop was skywalk. It was additional cost and they take all your phones etc off you before being allowed on. Photographers on skywalk. Not sure how much Not sure if worth it. You can get better views from other parts of the tour, really just the looking down through the glass but not sure it’s worth it
Then moved on to Guano Point. Some great views from there and we climbed the peak and it was amazing. Got drinks in shop and ate food that we’d brought with us. We were too early for the outdoor stalls and then got bus back to helicopter at 11:00
We had plenty of time as we were there early and no queues anywhere. But there were bus loads of tourists arriving as we were leaving so that would have created queues everywhere and then your time may have been pressed to get to see everything that you wanted

Papillon Helicopters delivered exactly as promised except that they rebooked us on to a later trip (1230 rather than the 11am we’d booked) without asking or wondering if it was even possible for us. It was not for any good reason and likely only to accommodate a bigger group on the tour we booked. Whilst I can understand that, what happens to the idea of booking in advance.
Luckily we had booked the 930pm Cirque do Soleil rather than the earlier show, but this change by the tour company would have messed us up if not as we would not have been able to manage both.
Everything else from the pickup to the drop-off worked perfectly.
The pre-booked Canyon Skywalk
option was definitely worth doing. The Skywalk is OK - good to do but not essential or good value, but is made worth it by this trip allowing us to skip the one hour queue (sorry guys!). If it were not for the pre-booked express line ticket, it would absolutely not be worth queuing an hour for the Skywalk.
The up-front helicopter seats are worth the extra $60 to secure them (as long as the body weights of each passenger allows this) and you don’t find out until just before the flight whether you can Bagsy the front seats (and pay the $60 each). To be fair, I didn’t see the view they were able to get from the back seat, but it definitely was not as good as ours!

The whole experience was excellent from our collection at the hotel and transport to Boulder City Airport. The two pilots (Adam & Sam) were magnificent and very informative. The trips to Eagle & Guano Points were also great.

We booked a tour with skywalk. It was amazing. We landed in the Canyon and then went on to the skywalk. The skywalk itself is great, but it took so long to queue that we couldn't go to the Indian village, which was part of the tour. It

Excellent trip on the helicopter seeing the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon but disappointed we left 45 mins late and were told at one point we could have the time added on to our time in the Canyon but later when at the Canyon were told we couldn’t. Hence we rushed our visit to the Sky Walk and Guano Point. However, when we returned on time to catch the bus back to Vegas, we were told our time had been extended!! However as no one had told us this, it was too late to return to Guano Point. We also had been looking forward to seeing the Native American jewellery and crafts that should have been at the market at Guano Point. There was no market.

Well worth the experience. It was a truly amazing adventure from start to finish, the views were out of this world.
We paid extra to sit in the front seats ( weight distribution has to be confirmed first ) but we’ll worth the extra cost. Skyline was backed up, we queued up for over 1 hour , truthfully, after the views from the helicopter you really do not need to go onto the skyline.
