This was the best experience of my life, it was just fantastic from start to finish. Adam was our Helicopter pilot and was outstanding and his play list was brilliant, we loved it so much. It was coming up to my birthday and he let us sit in the front all the way to the Grand Canyon, it was a magical experience and I can’t thank Maverick Helicopter enough for making it such a wonderful day! We took the evening flight and saw the beautiful sunset on the way back to Las Vegas. Thank you Maverick, we will be back!

It was a great time. Unfortunately, we had to swap helicopters after 20 minutes of flying. That is the reason we just had one stop. But still an excellent experience, with nice staff!

If you are looking for something special to do whilst in Las Vegas, look no further than a trip to the Grand Canyon via helicopter! Communication from the point of booking up to arrival was well managed and efficient. Upon arrival at the terminal, you are checked in and introduced to your pilot for the day who runs through the planned flight. Our pilot was Adam who was friendly and engaging throughout the experience and had a vast library of ‘Dad’ jokes to draw on. My wife was a little nervous and this was managed well (after she had crippled my hand that she was holding).
Once in the cabin, we harnessed up and equipped ourselves with the headsets before heading off toward the canyon. During the flight, Adam played a soundtrack (his own playlist) through the headset which enhanced the experience with a great choice of music. Adam displayed a broad knowledge of the terrain we were flying over and was happy to answer any questions that those in the group of 6 might have. On our flight, there were 3 separate couples (we were one of these of course) and Adam rotated the seating positions through the flight so that everyone got a front seat view at some point during the trip. There were two stops (the canyon and then to refuel) so this worked out well.
Whilst in the canyon, after the champagne/bubbles we were allowed time to explore a little to take pictures, etc but had to keep an eye out for snakes (I had been warned about this by a friend). The scenery here is breathtakingly rugged and beautiful so was great to see first hand.
For the final leg of the trip, Adam flew along the Las Vegas strip giving us a Birds Eye view of the hotels and entertainment venues below which was great to see. You really get a sense of how vast the hotels are from the air.
All in all, a fantastic experience from start to finish, made better by an experienced, knowledgeable and humourous. I believe that Adam was leaving his role and heading back home for a corporate pilot role in June so wish him well on his future career!

Everything about this trip was awesome! Adam was our top-notch pilot. Views were outstanding! Would recommend a travel sickness med a hour before the flight, just to be safe. Choppers have a unique flight feel to them and some people don't fair well to that.

Absolutely the most amazing experience with Maverick Helicopters. My fiancé and I contacted Maverick Helicopters about a wedding package out of Las Vegas. We were promptly responded to by Marie who is the wedding consultant. Marie handled everything and provided us with so much information. She answered our never ending questions and was so patient with us during our planning process. We had several unique requests and Marie was able to accommodate all of them. We ended up taking two helicopters from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon for a sunset ceremony and it was nothing short of Magical. From the limo pickup at our hotel our driver John made us not only feel like VIP’s but also family. Once we arrived at Mavericks terminal we were immediately checked in and escorted to a VIP waiting room with couches, a view of our helicopters, and beverages. Here, Marie went above and beyond to accommodate one of our special requests and we cannot thank her enough for making our wedding so special. Once the paperwork was complete we met our pilot David. There are no words to explain how truly incredible he was. He made our whole experience so much more memorable and enjoyable. A skilled and professional pilot but also a knowledgeable tour guide, he escorted our family in and out of the helicopter, helped with our gear, and even poured us our celebratory glass of champagne.
The flights to and from the Grand Canyon were unforgettable, and our photographer, Julie, provided by Maverick, captured every moment beautifully, both posed and spontaneous. Our wedding album is a testament to her talent.
If you are considering an adventurous, exciting, memorable, wedding experience you should definitely call Maverick Helicopters. We WILL be back for an anniversary flight

The entire trip was wonderful. It was expensive but the experience was well worth the cost and exceeded our expectations. Our pilot Jacob was excellent! It was a fun addition to our 25th anniversary trip!

We did this yesterday as a family of 3 with maverick landed in the canyon and again for refuel. Couples were kept together and rotated to try all possible seats.
It was absolutely fantastic. Well organised felt really safe and our pilot was so reassuring and let us know if we were about to feel a bump due to thermals or whatever
Honestly it’s the best thing we’ve done and after a glass of fizz inside the canyon any fears are gone completely for the trip back.
