Departing Melbourne at around 8am, you'll pass through Western Plains of Victoria on the way to historic Ballarat. Ballarat boomed in the 1850’s with the widespread discovery of gold in the district. Learn a little about the history and enjoy morning tea at the site of the infamous Eureka Rebellion. Continue the drive through the picturesque western volcanic plains, passing through the town of Moyston, the birthplace of Australian Rules Football.

Arrive at the foot of the Grampians Range known as Gariwerd in the local Jardwadjali language and immerse yourself in the Australian bush with a gentle stroll to Silverband Falls.

Continue to the township of Halls Gap for lunch. Keep an eye open for the local kangaroos and the abundant birdlife that can be seen in the main street. After lunch, head to the Wonderland Turntable for a short hike to the Grand Canyon.

Your last stop is MacKenzie Falls. No trip to the Grampians would be complete without a visit to these majestic falls.

Last minute decision to go on this tour .
And it was incredible.
Sherif and his penguin mascot was very informative, friendly and super fun .
He was funny and really helpful.
Talented with his music too. As he gave us a superb performance with the didgeridoo .

Definitely recommend this tour with Sherif.

The views were wonderful , definitely worth the long drive to see the waterfalls and the views of the Grampians.

Hope he didn’t mind the chatter and earbashing as I was seated in the front seat next to him ???

It was a well organised tour that gave us enough time to explore locations by ourselves. The instructor Isaak was really nice, he told us some interesting facts about Australia and made cool jokes. In the tour I especially loved little village where we could enjoy local bakery. One of the red parrots even landed on my partner's shoulder while trying to get some food from us. It was cute moment:) I'm also grateful that we were lucky enough to see kangaroos closely at the end of the trip.
Among all the locations I enjoyed spectacular panoramic views and a long waterfalls trail. Overall, well organised tour that you can fit in one day if you don't have a lot of time. We both enjoyed it.

This was a long but great day! Our guide Rob was very good and spoke clearly and gave information all through the day. The views were good but the best was the MacKenzie waterfall - eventhough the 270 steep steps down and up was quite a cardio workout!

We spent the day with Jon R.
The walks were strenuous for older people. The stairs down to Mackenzie Falls was not possible for older adults with limited mobility.
Jon spent an inordinate amount of time adjusting the audio system and played some absolutely horrible aboriginal music for a while and then announced he would play some old time Rock and Roll. It was like nothing l’ve ever heard before. He was definitely a distracted driver, fussing with the system and at one point was writing the return time on his white board while driving. He took a couple of “driver breaks” which detracted from our time. All other tour guides on our other tours accompanied their groups to see the sights. Jon took a nap while his customers climbed to Mackenzie Falls.
We would recommend the tour for the sights to see, but would try to be sure Jon R is not your guide

The Grampians National Park is a must see, absolutely stunning views and chance to see some wildlife in action too! Our tour guide Rachel was so lovely and well-organised, very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Rachel was also very helpful in terms of recommendations for Melbourne city and other parts of Australia. Thank you Rachel and Laney for a wonderful tour!
