Golden Circle Experience - Private Eco Tour

So glad I booked with EV Travel! We did two consecutive day tours - the Golden Circle and the Silver Circle - and this combination provided the perfect balance of incredible scenery and historic perspective. With multiple generations in our group (ages 10 to 74), the exceptional service and flexibility provided during both tours made our first visit to Iceland so memorable. Thomas and Thomas are both terrific guides! Friendly, knowledgeable, and so very accommodating, they adjusted the pace perfectly to suit our needs. Throughout both tours, they were very mindful of our comfort and provided special touches like blankets, water and snacks. We hope to return soon to do the South Coast Adventure tour!

Thomas was a fantastic guide, he enabled us to see so many of Iceland's natural wonders in our limited time in the country. His communication from the get go was excellent, and he picked us up from the airport with no fuss. Great to hear his experiences of living in Iceland, and we would definitely recommend a tour with him (EV Travel) for anyone visiting the country. From the craters, to the geysir, the waterfalls and the national park, we enjoyed it all with expert guidance from Thomas and his super jeep.

The landscapes were breathtaking and we could take very many stunning pics! The tour was well organized and well-rounded, it allowed us to have an insight of some of the beauties of Iceland. Our driver spoke perfect English, was kind and prepared and told us many interesting pieces of information both about the country and its nature. The van was spacious and comfortable, plus there were fresh water and snacks for us to enjoy, as well as blankets to keep us warm in case it got chilly in the back of the van. When we come back to Iceland, we will definitely contact EV Travel to plan some more day trips and discover more of this wonderful country.

As a seasoned traveler, I have had many tour guides and know when I have found an exceptional one. When you tell people you are going to Iceland, everybody shares their best experiences and what one should and should not do. But our group was looking for something more customized and Thomas at EV Travel worked with us over a course of several months to design the perfect experience. He was patient and talked us through the pros and cons of each “new idea” we put to him via e-mail. Am surprised after his busy days he always had the time to offer his seasoned advice and expertise. We got back less than 24 hours ago and the trip was amazing and mixed with so much fun (even Thomas laughed) and so many “wow” moments it is hard to list them all. Thomas was determined to offer the four of us the utmost care and personalized Icelandic experience and he definitely did!!! You can’t go wrong choosing EV Travel.

Thomas was very prompt and picked us up at our hotel when expected. Not only did we get a full tour of the Golden Circle we also got a lot of history of the land and local culture as well. I cannot express enough how wonderful our tour was as well as our tour guide! If you have a short time or even an extended stay in Iceland and don't want to deal with a large bus and lots of people this is a MUST do!!! 5 stars is an understatement, it is worth every penny!

The day was wonderful. Our guide Tomaz was so knowledgeable and nice. It was a delight to spend the day with him.
