On the one hand the trip is good value for the money, scenery and stops in Positano and Amalfi are great. However it’s very unclear where you queue to pick up the boat in Positano for Amalfi and then in Amalfi back to Sorrento, there are no signs so it’s a scrum. The boat is over packed like sardines, and a lot of people have nowhere to sit if they want to be on deck in the fresh air. We also found it really stressful to make sure we were queuing in the right place (it was only by chance we got on board in Amalfi) there are no signs for the boat and it’s like a football scrum to get the boat totally disorganised. Also the online option I clicked on said FIVE HOUR trip in the summary screen yet it’s a full day you board at 10 and get off at 6 so that’s 8 hours, but it was only apparent when we collected the tickets at the ticket office at Sorrento Marina. Unfortunately the alternatives seemed to be twice or three times the price so you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a relaxing day but if you’re not bothered about finding it’s not the timings you paid for, being thrown about like cattle and not knowing where to pick the boat up then it’s for you.

I don't know what some people expected from the reviews it beats sitting or standing on a cramped bus for hours it's not a tour.
The crew were lovely and helpful we got in at C. Stabia. There 8.20 as it was nearest to our accom in pompei. Departed shortly after 9.
2 hours in positano (lunch and approx spritz) and then 2 hours in amalfi 🍹🍰
Back to C. Stabia 7pm.

Poor organisation and timings were completely laughable. Viator stated we would be picked up at 9.00am in Seiano, the boat turned up at 9.35. The company state you will get 2 hours in Positano and 2h 30 mins in Amalfi. We got 1 hour 10 minutes in both places unless they're counting the 40 mins offshore at Positano waiting on a docking space, or the 1 hour offshore at Amalfi waiting on a berth to dock the boat. Spend the extra £80 per head and go in the small boats that take only 10-12 passengers as the bigger boats are just not worth the hassle and it is a poor experience.

Agree with other reviewer - This is not a cruise, let alone a ‘gold’ cruise. It is a ferry/taxi service, often overbooked during high season.
Please be warned that at the docks, there was little to no organized queuing for the boats which led to overcrowding and panic at the time of boarding. Staff seem clueless and do not seem to care for the passengers to make their way back to their original starting point. Not the right option for a relaxed tour of Amalfi coast.

Cruise was nice! Clean boat and helpful crew. Able to change plans when needed to skip Amalfi. Price was fair.

We were looking for an economical and pleasant way to discover the Amalfi Coast by sea...and that's exactly what we found!
The boat is on a human scale, compared in particular to larger ferries.
Navigation is very pleasant
We were able to leave Castellamare di Stabia, 20 minutes from our rental...perfect!!!
We had a great day!!!

Our 1st trip to sorrento in many years and much has changed. I would definitely recommend purchasing tickets in advance online, I was able to store my purchase in my wallet. On the morning of travel always arrive at least 30 minutes before. This enables you to jump the queue present your receipt and our ticket we’re already processed waiting for collection. Because we arrived early we were also able to board the earlier boat so we had more time In Positano.

What an experience these places are beautiful but the heat was horrific. This isn't a tour just ferry rides to each destination hop on hop off.

If you like being herded off to a beautiful and expensive feed lot then is for you. It’s a made race to get a good seat with a view with some passengers thinking they own the ship because they got on first.
