I booked this trip for my daughter and I.
I would definitely recommend not only this tour with this company but also the Gold Class option.
What a difference it made to be able to retreat to our own private air conditioned cabin.
Included was a well stocked mini bar with soft drinks, chocolates and chips, cakes , tea and coffee.
The personalised attention was also amazing. We were greeted by Nic, the Marine biologist, and were able to bypass the queue for check in. We were given a personalised introduction of what the day included and later had a private snorkel tour with Nic outside of the area the other passengers were swimming.
We paid additional for an introductory dive which I would recommend. The pre dive information and instruction was given by Phil, who is also amazing. I don’t think you could find a more professional and accommodating team and there safety measures seem impeccable.
It goes without saying that experiencing the Great Barrier Reef is a must for anyone… breathtakingly beautiful.
I would recommend this tour and would definitely book the Gold Class option again.

Had an amazing time on this tour! We were treated so well, from a timely pick up to being greeted at the dock and a lovely private cabin! Everyone was so nice and of course, the reef was absolutely stunning!

Awesome trip. Evolution is big, fast and comfortable, the only way to go, when going to the reef. She gets you out there quickly, more time to dive. The staff where amazing and the VIP lounge is the only way to go. We highly recommend this adventure.

We very much enjoyed our VIP experience. Eddie and Sammy (our host) were lovely and made us feel very special. The private room was lovely and had everything we needed - the weather was very windy and overcast so it was very nice to have a private space. All the staff were lovely and really helpful.

We had a wonderful experience with the gold class lounge snorkel experience. Sammy was a great host, who shared interesting information about the reef and marine life and took good care of us. The two reefs were filled with amazing coral and fish. Highly recommend! Thanks Captain Dave and the crew from Down Under tours

When we booked this tour we thought from the photos that it was a private yacht that took only 8 passengers. It was misleading that way. As it turned out, it was a private VIP lounge on a catamaran that can accommodate about 130 passengers. But we got great treatment as the "VIP" passengers, including a private briefing from the marine biologist and a cabin attendant who constantly made sure we had everything we wanted. For the dive and snorkel experiences we were part of the larger group. The instructors were excellent, as was the marine biologist who took us on the snorkeling part.
I would definitely recommend this tour operator, but it would be nice to know what you are booking if you book the Gold Class VIP trip. If you can afford the extra, I would go with that. It would be especially nice if you had your own small group of 8 or less in the VIP lounge with you.

From the moment we were picked up to the time we were dropped off this tour was VIP all the way. Nicholas was the best naturalist and he made sure that everything we wanted or needed was provided. The air conditioned VIP suite was stocked with drinks and snacks (and sea sickness pills if needed), and was incredibly comfortable. We had personalized emergency procedure briefings and again Nick made sure we had fins, masks and suits ready when it was time to snorkel. He also took us on a private snorkel tour where we saw a tawny nurse shark and giant clams, as well as the incredible number of beautiful fish on the Great Barrier Reef. This was by far the best snorkel tour we’ve ever had. Thanks for a great day!
