A must do. I received a called a week prior to our trip asking if I would mind switching our time from 2:00 pm to 10:00 am and they would let us keep the cart for an extra hour. Upon check in, the lady was extremely nice. My husband is a bigger guy and she accommodated us with a different cart that would work better for a guy over 6 ft. The ride was amazing going around at our pace seeing all the sites. We had a BLAST!

We had a fantastic time!!! The rental process was super easy. We asked to add an extra hour onto our 3 hour reservation and they were more than accommodating. They were very thorough in going over and marking any scratches, dinks, or damage on the vehicle and even encouraged us to take pictures of it prior to leaving to protect ourselves. We would absolutely do this again and highly recommend it!!! A few side notes that may be helpful - We did the complete city tour using the GPS included. We only stopped and got out twice (20 minutes each time) and did not have time to complete the route so plan out what you would really like to see ahead of time and breeze past or skip the things that are not so important to you. The Gocar gps did die on us about 3 hours in so be prepared to possibly have to use your phone's gps to get back. Your phone's gps will put you on bigger (more heavily traveled) roads than the Gocar is programmed to use depending on where you are but we did not find that to be a problem. The Gocar does have a trunk that locks so you are able to store your belongings and you do not have to carry them around with you. Also, the car is small. Both myself and my friend are larger ladies and were able to fit but don't plan on being comfortable lol! That being said, we were not in pain just a bit cramped. The last bit I would like to add is that we went to our local AAA before we went on this trip and were able to get an international drivers license in only 10 minutes for $20. The Gocar rental place can also do one for you but it may slow you down on the day. You are also able to sign a waiver when you get to Gocar and not get an international drivers license at all if you are not worried about being pulled over which I didn't see any reason to fear being pulled over at all. In conclusion, I would absolutely do this again. It was a blast!

My wife and I rented a GoCar on our recent visit to Barcelona. It was a blast! We took the 3 hour audio tour, which takes you past most of the tourist stops: La Sagrada Familia, La Rambla, Barcelonetta, the Harbor and Montjuic. Gives you about 45 minutes leftover to park somewhere and get out for a bit (we walked up to the Montjuic Castell). Takes a minute to get used to zipping through Barcelona traffic on such a low ride, but once you get the hang of it its a blast. Drives like a scooter, with handle bars and a throttle... only foot pedal is the brake. The car is a bit small for my 6'1" frame, so I ended up sitting cross-legged and braking with my left toe much of the time :-) but this was quite comfortable.

Amazing experience, covered so many sites in a limited time in Barcelona. The GPS guide was great and the team at the office so helpful. Also helped to keep cool in the heat whilst driving along. Would highly recommend

Had a great time driving a GoCar round Barcelona . It amazed me how immersed into the city, doing something I perceived as ‘touristy’ made me feel. Heaps of fun and very informative on the sites visited. I would recommend doing at the start of your trip if able, as it will give you plenty of ideas on places to go. Staff were awesome and easy going.

Great way of seeing the sites and fun experience all round.. no near death experiences and the route was easy to follow. I am 6'3" and the car was a bit of tight fit and got slightly uncomfortable towards the end but was all very much a really good and recommendable experience

Great experience. Cost €100 euros for 3 hours, however we were given a complimentary extra hour. Need driving license and credit card to book. Provisional €300 held on CC but is released as soon as you drop the car back. Always get a bit worried about these companies taking the mick and charging for anything but this wasn’t the case. Friendly helpful staff. Answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. Helped to choose our map to suit what we wanted. I didn’t drive but my partner found it easy to use. Sometimes got a little uncomfortable but lots of places to stop off and stretch the legs. Took a little while to get comfortable driving round Barcelona but tbf it’s mostly one way systems - if you take a wrong turn which we did it’s easy enough to get back onto your route. We will 100% do this again on our next visit to Barcelona. Thank you to the team who helped us!! :)

GoCar is a great way to see the city sights at your own pace with you in control. We loved the experience and Claudia was wonderful in telling us all we needed to know and even allowing us to go over our 3 hr limit.
