An easy and short tour to Goðafoss, also known as the water of the gods, which played a role in the christening of Iceland. We drive to the waterfall and spend some time there and then we head back to Akureyri, stopping at some good photo points on the way.

Our driver was very knowledgeable and compliant. He showed us the sights going to and returning from the falls. A memorable experience.

Very small and worry free group going to the beautiful Godafoss. Tom was a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. It was almost like having a private taxi there.

Sysli Tours was great to work with but if you've seen Niagara Falls in the US Godafoss is underwhelming. It's a 30 minute bus ride to see the falls, about an hour to walk around and a 30 minute bus ride back.

Beautiful scenery at the falls & driving to it. Our guide was knowledgable & also took us around the town on our way back. Much cheaper than the cruise ship prices!

Jonas was a great guide (a lot of interesting explanations provided, excellent English and also a good sense of humour) , the waterfall is really beautiful, I really enjoyed this tour.

Wow, the waterfall was amazing! Our guide was great too! He gave us the lore behind the naming of Godafoss and he told us about living in Iceland (more than what you get from Googling). I would recommend both. The big van was clean & comfortable.

Our tour guide Jonas (Sysli tours ) was so knowledgeable and funny! What a great experience. The waterfalls were breathtaking and we took a different way back to the shop and saw more beautiful sites!

The waterfall is spectacular. Our tour guide provided great information with a dash of humor. The drive to the falls was just as beautiful. The only warning I give to folks is that the location has tons and tons of gnats/midges. they will fly directly into your mouth, eyes, nose, etc. when given the chance. Makes taking photos of people a bit difficult. Some people had hats with netting that covered their faces. I would recommend getting that if bugs truly annoy you.
