Dublin pass is an interesting tool that helped us schedule activities and what to see in Dublin.
The cost of the pass is below the sum of the individual costs of the activities involved (if the most expensive ones are chosen, of course, which is easy to do).
It's a shame that only the visit to the Guinness Storehouse are by appointment. Other activities should also be possible to schedule using the Dublin pass (for example, visits to distilleries, or even the Coastal Tour to Howth).
Dublin Bus has only one day, which is short. Until April 30th the second day is an offer which is a good aspect - why not extend this for all year around?

There were 2 of us who bought the 3-day pass to visit Dublin where we stayed for 4 full days, given that it starts at the first attraction visited and that on the first day we arrived in the afternoon we started using it on our second day of holiday and we made the most of it, if you have time and above all I want I think this is the best solution, obviously some attractions had to be booked in advance but we didn't have any kind of problem, I highly recommend it

Don’t by this pass if you want to go to Guiness. It doesn’t work there.
Guiness requires pre booking and you don’t receive the necessary information to do it.

This pass was easy to use, most everywhere we went recognized it right away! We had a list of all the places the pass gave us access to (some you still need to make reservations at) and made a list for each day. We bought a 3 day pass that included the BigBus Hop on Hop Off tour - was definitely worth it!!!

Seemed like a good idea, but they shy away from telling you that a days pass is by no means 24 hours. A day is the time from when you visit your first attraction until midnight that same day, which is only stated rather far down on the FAQs page. It even says that it is “valid for one day from first use” when selecting the all-inclusive pass, which is just not true..

Bought the 2-day pass and decided upon arrival to visit an attraction in the evening and have all of the following day and most of the day after that (or so I thought). Activated it at 6PM the first day allowing us one attraction as most close around then. Had booked an attraction with the pass for the morning of the last day, which was not immediately cancelled when the pass was activated.

Midnight on the second day I received a cancellation for this booking without having done anything and when checking the passes they were invalid. After contacting their customer support and reading reviews I realised the problem - that one attraction counted as a whole day apparently.

This was very disappointing as it was not mentioned when booking. Had it been made clear we probably still would have bought the passes and planned differently, but had genuinely no clue they would do this as it makes little sense. We now lost out on basically a whole day and upon contacting them they said nothing could be done as it was in fact mentioned in the FAQs section. Absolutely ridiculous. There’s also a lack of consistency as the hop on hop off ticket said it was valid until 6 PM the last day.

Great way to see the city. Pop in and off the buses as you want. Even if you just ride and listen to the tour guide. Great way to get a feel for the lay out of the city. We made this our first day adventure and it was well worth it.
