I have a travel dispute because I purchased 4 tourist attractions in Bangkok on the go city official website on April 21, 2024, but used 3 travel itineraries, but was recorded as using 5 (including the tuk-tuk activity was recorded 3 times at the same time). Complaining to go city customer service only kept telling me that it was invalid. Emailed to the head office (May 3 and May 6, 2024), no reply, but unlocked my QR CODE. I went to MBK Let's Relax Spa again on May 6th, but the store said that my ticket had been used up and refused me entry. The price difference for one attraction is US$35. So it doesn't deserve even one star.

I’m so glad that I bought the 5 days pass for Bangkok. We did so many activities that would have cost us double if we had bought them individually. The list of attractions have everything we wanted.
And the help I received when I called with questions were exceptional.
Highly recommend.

I was a frequent customer of Go city until - in Bangkok - I made a reservation for the Pub Crawl and it turned out to be a scam. We contacted the service provider and he said that he no longer had ties with Go City. Go City continues to advertise it and I - as well as a group of other tourists - were scammed by Go City. For its part, the company does not provide a refund or response for this painful experience.

Be aware great idea but misleading. The site present it’s the best way to see the city right the way but doesn’t explicit tell you that many of the tours requires 3 days advance booking. I am only in Bangkok for 3 days thinking that I see a few sites and tours but the 3 day advance booking voids most of the tours.

Contacted their help desk and their response was the disclosure is “clear in before you go section”, it should be in a “before you buy” section.

I went with my father and 9 year old son. The pass had a lot of walking tours, and scooter tours which did not appeal to us because it would be tiring for both my son and dad. We still managed to use enjoy many things on the pass. I would say there are a lot of options to both the family/ chill vacationers and also the more active vacationers on this pass. We did The massage at Let's Relax, Thai costume rental, King Power Mahanakohn Skywalk, Railway Market tour, Meridien Dinner Cruise and Dream World Thailand

1. The massage at Let's Relax

The ambience is very similar to that of a high-end hotel's.

I had to email the Let's Relax team to reserve a slot. The details were very clearly mentioned on the Go City app. The massage is available in multiple locations so it is key to decide which location you would want to go to depending on what your other plans for the day are. We went to the one near our hotel to the Sukhumvit 13 branch. The instructions mentioned that reservations should be made at least a day in advance. I got the confirmation in 40 minutes so it was relatively seamless.

The massage was 90 minutes long. As mentioned in the title on the Go City app, it was a traditional Thai massage. These tend to be a bit too "rough" for some. That being said, this was my 9 year old son's first ever full body massage - he enjoyed it and found it relaxing. The masseuse do keep an eye on our reactions to the massage throughout and do constantly ask if the pressure is too much or too light and adjust accordingly. They were very tactful when doing this which enhanced the experience so much.

They were very attentive but private at the same time which is very key to a good full body massage experience.

Also after the massage, we were all treated with a mango sticky rice. The coconut milk came in a pipette. It was very cute and very tasty as well. It was a nice touch to round off the whole experience.

2. Thai costume rental

The lady in charge of the store hand-selects the pieces and has it custom-sewn for her shop. She even recommends pieces based on what would look best on each individual. She even has hair pieces and ornaments to enhance the entire look.

We took a tuk tuk to a nearby temple to take our photos there and we returned the outfit to the shop. It was a unique experience!

The shop was clean and neat. The staff were very courteous and polite. One cute thing was that they did not know how to speak english perfectly and when they could not communicate with me, they typed out what they wanted to say and showed us the english translation. It was smart and very effective.

3. King Power Mahanakohn Skywalk

The first day when we went, the skywalk was closed due to thunderstorm warnings. Suppose they take extra precautionary measures since the skywalk was so high up. It was a bit annoying but it was a safety measure so we appreciated the authorities taking safety very seriously. We went back the next day. The queue was massive but it was easy to get in with the pass. The “glass” floor was very fun to walk on. My son loved peeking a the city underneath. We also took pictures seated on the glass floor. They all turned out looking pretty cool. This is one for the memory books, for sure!

4. Railway Market and floating market tour

This needed reservation. We got the reservation confirmation from gocity instantly. The tour provider also followed up with a very detailed email on the meeting point, what to expect etc. This was an unexpected but very welcome touch. The guides were on time to pick us up.

The ride to visit the markets took over an hour. The bus was very comfortable, with enough space for everyone on the tour. It was also air-conditioned so no complaints. We stopped at a nice rest area to use the restroom and/or get some drinks for those who wanted to.

The tour guide also told us some facts about Thailand throughout which kept the experience engaging. The English was also good which was nice.

We got a glimpse to 2 very different local markets. We took the paddle boats at the floating market that was included in the tour. My son loved being in front and paddling. It was interesting being on the train and the track for the rail market. There is lots to see and buy.

5. Meridien Dinner Cruise

The pickup point was across the river from where the railway tour picked us up from. The checkin was smooth. The night view of Bangkok was amazing to watch from the cruise. The buffet had a nice range of food. The pickup Is near ICONSIAM so we arrived early in case we got caught in traffic and spent some time shopping while waiting for our checking time. The music was a bit too loud though.

6. Dream World Thailand

The location is about an hour away from the city centre. We took a cab there from outside the hotel and the price was more reasonable than grab. They had a huge place outdoors for tickets. But for the Go City pass, we had to go into the “Information” room beside the entrance next to the huge dedicated place they had for tickets. We were thankful for this as the room was airconditioned. The staff saw our passes, scanned them and gave us our wristbands that will grant us entry into DreamWorld.

We were told that there were a few schools that were having their excursion to Dream World and that it would be crowded because of the thousands of school children. Fortunately, we did not have to wait much for any of the rides.

The Hurricane alone was enough to be worth the trip. It was absolutely insane with so many upside down and pendulum like moments. My son and I went for a second ride as well on this.

The alien 4D was extremely realistic and creeped out my son as it was more to the creepy/ ghost side than on the adventure side. That’s one thing to note to other parents!

The puss in boots was cute to take some photos in.

We tried the bumper cars which was great fun for all of us. The adrenaline that comes from bumping into a group of cars or escaping a car that is headed to you is unmatched! The time given for each session was reasonable too and felt just long enough.

The snow town was so much fun. Loved the sliding down the slope in the floatie. They provide Shoes, socks and jacket. No gloves were provided though so the hands do get cold very fast. We were not in there for too long so it did not impact us much but if you are planning on going for more than 2 trips down the slope, it might be a good idea to bring your own winter gloves.

The animals in the animal farm were cute and a nice addition to the experience. The feeding was a cute experience.

The only downside was that my son really wanted to try to go karting. It was all the way at the back of the theme park and so it took us a while to get there. Unfortunately they had a height limit of 150 cm and so that meant he was not able to try the ride. I did promise him that we will be back when he is taller.

I have nothing but a wonderful experience using the Bangkok Pass. The list of things to do are really well curated and the app is super easy to use (I love the map view!) I went to Bangkok on a business trip so I didn't necessarily have all that time in the world to do all those extensive research to find the best local operator which offers the best service at the best price. Go City did the job for me!

During my free day, I've tried the traditional Thai costume rental in I'm Chinatown mall. The clothes at the shop was really beautifully made and there are lots of beautiful accessories to choose from. The shop owner was very friendly and attentive. After I was being dressed up, I felt like I was a Thai Princess! We took lots of memorable photos at the nearby temple and had a wonderful time. I have also tried the Nara Thai Cuisine, Meridian Cruise, King Power Mahanakhon skywalk and last but not the least the Let's Relax massage. I think I managed to save over 53% which is amazing. Most of the experiences I tried didn't require advance reservation. For the ones that do, the booking process was very straightforward.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience using the Go City pass and I see now they added some interesting things to do in Pattaya. I can't wait to come back to Thailand (hopefully on holiday) and travel with Go City again!!
