You will experience nothing like this in Murano. This is the only place where you can experience such an amazing class along with glass masters working on a real furnace. No demonstration, just real a real hotshop!

One of the most memorable experiences of our 4 day trip to Venice! Our short private glass blowing immersion was led by a super instructor- a female student at the school from Australia- who was simply wonderful with our 11 year old who was able to assist with the creation of his vase. Wave we learned, is one of the first factories / schools to include / employ women designers. The environment is charming and we were not approached in any commercial way at any time while we were there-- except at our own request! The administrative side of the experience was quick and easy and our vase will arrive at our home address shortly. Murano was lovely in late December with Christmas lights and a sunset to remember on our ride back. Five stars!!!

If I could give 20 stars, I would! This was a fabulous experience! Our instructor, Kim, was extremely knowledgeable, patient and informative. The entire experience was amazing and we can't wait to pick up our pieces. If you have the time, this experience is well worth it!! I would do it again.

We had an amazing time during our visit to the Wave workshop. It was really so special to see the studio in full flow - being able to see up-close experts crafting chandeliers, vases, and one-off pieces was a real treat. Our tour-guide was so knowledgeable and personable. Then our glass blowing session was fantastic - so fun and interesting to be able to create our glassware, expertly guided by Ana.

This was a wonderful experience! We did the full tour and glass blowing experience. It seems expensive when you pay but I would pay it again! My husband and I loved this, staff were patient and kind. Answered all of our questions. Great experience. This was on of my top favourite things to do on our two week vacation all around Italy.

This was so much fun. We first got an in depth behind the scenes tour of the glass factory. Our tour guide/instructor was an intern from Rhode Island USA (I forget her name sorry). After the tour she led us step by step through the process of making our own piece (vase, glass or ornament) she was very patient and knowledgeable and our pieces came out great. Could not recommend this tour enough.

We absolutely loved this workshop! It was a dream-come-true experience, we loved our tour guide and our workshop master, everything was amazing. Totally worth the money!

We had an absolutely amazing experience touring the factory and immersing ourselves in the process of crafting our own glass vases. Witnessing firsthand how these intricate pieces come to life and observing the skilled workers on the floor practicing their art was truly captivating. The instruction provided was exceptionally detailed and enlightening, and our instructor, Cameron, was incredibly supportive, ensuring our creations turned out splendidly. Undoubtedly, this was one of the standout moments of our vacation, and we've already enthusiastically recommended this extraordinary experience to others, urging them to include it in their travel plans.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Our class teacher was Cam and she was amazing!! She obviously had a lot of experience teaching and she enjoyed it. But let's start before that - the tour was VERY well thought out and organized. (We had never done glass blowing before.) First we toured the working factory. We saw the components they use to make the glass, the hot shop, the cold shop, and everything in between. Then we went over safety requirements. Next Cam had us practice with holding a blow rod, dipping it into water, turning and lifting it. Nothing difficult, right? Next we practice gathering glass from a small furnace. Our group of 4 were very comfortable because this class was not in the middle of the working factory, but off to the side so no need to feel nervous. Once everyone was comfortable with the steps, Cam helped us with all of the steps to make our product. Great teachers have a skill, and demonstrate confidence knowing they can help you out of any situation you get yourself into. She was so personable and helpful, and everyone had a wonderful time.
We picked this tour over others because we didn't want to just make a bead like most glass blowing classes do. Two of us made drinking glasses and two made small vases. Nothing big and unmanageable, but definitely a more usable end product. Highly recommend this tour!!
