This a memorable trip. Karolina, the tour guide was very knowledgeable. She shared with us her glacier experiences. The coach was on time. It was a very long day but well worth it.

We went on the South Iceland tour and our guide was Matt. He was PHENOMENAL! We had an awesome and very special day--the highlight in an epic trip. Matt shared a ton of information on the places we were visiting, kept us abreast of the itinerary and schedule (for a while, it seemed like bad weather wouldn't allow us to visit all of the stops on the itinerary -- but it cleared up, and he kept us super informed throughout!), and just did a great job of keeping up our energy throughout a long and exciting day. And he was always available to help take pictures, share more interesting facts, etc. at each location. Thank you Matt and BusTravel Iceland! - Ana + Vicente

Despite Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach being unreachable because of high winds, we had a brilliant time on the south Iceland tour! Matt and Lucasz were excellent and did everything they could to make the tour fun given the last minute change of plans, adding loads of bonus stops along the south coast including glaciers, beaches, lava fields and waterfalls which were all incredible. They made sure we were kept in the loop from the start with the change of plans and were very helpful and informative when we had questions about the itinerary or the tour itself. We were given a partial refund - it was a great day all around and great customer service, we highly recommend!

It is a long visit, where many hours are spent on the bus on the way from one place to the other. The places visited were beautiful and we had an extra stop at Lumagnupur

We signed up for a tour of the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond beach, among other stops on the way, which seemed extremely cool. However, at the pickup time on the morning of the excursion, it was revealed that the road to these destinations was experiencing winds severe enough to flip a bus, and therefore we would be unable to make it to said locations. At this point, the way to move forward easily could have been canceling or greatly abbreviating the tour. However, due to the knowledge, enthusiasm, and adaptability of our excellent guide Matt and our resolute driver Lukaz (or as they prefer to be called M-Dogg and Ca$h Money), what could have been a disappointing day turned into an excellent one. While still following our tour itinerary as much as possible, Matt adapted our tour into one of the south coast of Iceland with a focus on waterfalls. Matt took us to hidden gems and stops not normally seen by tourists on these tours, and provided us with a comprehensive glimpse of the beauty of Southern Iceland. All the while, we were provided with fun facts, cultural insight, and humor by our truly excellent guide. What could have been a bust of a day ended up being our favorite tour (of 3 we scheduled while in Iceland) not only because of the truly beautiful stops we made, but also because of the professionalism and above and beyond attitude of the lovely people leading our tour. I could not reccomend more highly taking a tour led by Matt, and I find myself in constant awe of the sights we were able to see.

Beggy and Tomuck were incredible!!! Such an amazing tour, especially from Reykjavík because you get to see glacier Lagoon and diamond beach. We got to see so much, with really knowledgeable, friendly, guides. 11/10 recommend!

Amazing tour! Our guide was so knowledgeable and made the 5 hour drive feel like nothing! She shared Icelandic history, fun facts, and even played us Icelandic music! The sights were beautiful! I am so glad we did the bus tour over driving ourselves. I can't remember the guide's name but I think it was Joanna and the driver's name was Paco, she was the kindest and had such a passion for Iceland!

The glacier Lagoon and the Diamond Beach were beautiful. We were lucky and there were seals in the glacier lagoon. The drives were long, which is because of the distance inevitable. Our guide (Alain) made the best out of that and explained a lot about the mountains we were passing by and other sights that can be seen. He did have a lot of knowledge about the places, which was very nice. I was happy, that I could visit the Diamond Beach, although I stayed in Reykjavik the whole time. I would have wished to have a little more time there though, but the weather was not too good. Especially the lunch stop was a little too long for myself, but I also brought my own lunch and there wasn't too much else to do and I wished to have more time at the Diamond Beach instead. The dinner stop was at a better place, because the Vik Sand Beach was close by and I had my dinner there. We did have enough time at the lagoon. The lagoon and the Diamond Beach are close by. I recommend bringing rain proof clothing, if it should rain. We drove with a big bus, but the places were still not too crowded, as the group spread out. At the end of the tour we got a discount code for further tours. Our driver Thomac did a faboulous job as well.

This trip was absolutely amazing. A long drive but totally worth it and made so much better by our guide Beggi and our driver Arthur. Beggi was a storehouse of information and stories which kept us all entertained and informed throughout the trip. The lagoon and diamond beach were stunning and the highlight was watching seals playing so close to the beach. Absolutely fabulous trip. Thank you guys so much.
