We work with the Claude Monet Foundation and have the right to use the special group entrance where you'll get inside the garden right away.
2. The Clos Normand - Fondation Claude Monet
There are two distinct gardens on Claude Monet's property. The lovely Clos Normand has hundreds of types of flowers in bloom throughout the spring, summer, and fall. You'll for sure recognize the bold purple Iris' lined pathways and the spicy, orange and yellow Capucines that climb on the arches just in front of his pink house with green shutters.
3. Fondation Claude Monet
Waterlillies!!! The Japanese garden on Claude Monet's estate is the most famous as it has a green bridge and a waterlily-filled pond. Your guide will lead you directly to it and help you get the best souvenir photos! You'll see the precise spots where Monet painted from and compare the paintings with what you see in real life.
4. Fondation Claude Monet
Monet's Colorful Home: Claude Monet lived here for more than 40 years and raised 8 children. Inside you will see his artist workshop as well as the personal decor and colorful paint that he put in every room. Groups are not allowed into the home as space is very limited inside. So, you will be given free time to explore inside on your own.
5. Eglise Sainte-Radegonde de Giverny
Graveside visit: Visit the final resting place of Claude Monet and pay your respects to the great man himself. His tomb is hidden away in a little countryside church's graveyard. Your guide will take you to it and share many of Monet's life stories that went beyond his art but still affected it.

It was a great time. The driver picked us up on time, gave us a brief history on both the cemetery and the gardens themselves. I would recommend trying to do the water Lilly bridge and the house asap because those lines get crazy. I would definitely recommend the experience.

I have enjoyed my tour of Giverny, two gardens and Monet’s House. The French Guide young lady was very friendly and knowledgeable. Furthermore, she was also good driver. Around one hour bus ride was comfortable. On the way back to Paris, the guide also explained the history of war with her family history. It was interesting and informative. I loved this entire trip via Viator. I also do not hesitate to recommend any other people. Thank you.

The time was too fleeting to fully enjoy the gardens and house. Another hour at least would’ve helped. Felt a bit pressed to get it all in.

Giverny is a beautiful little village out of Paris. The gardens of Monet were everything we expected, just as you see in the promotional materials. The drive there and back was very good with our guide doing the best he could to tell us of places of interest as we went. Unfortunately he did not have a headset or microphone in the van which made it difficult to hear in the back of the van. Overall a great trip.

Wendy Sam was a great host and guide allowing us time to explore with good background knowledge. The passes gave us skip the line access and the time slot was just before crowds so we saw the gardens, Monet’s house and stoop at cemetery. Enjoyed the small group with van transportation. Highly recommended!
