Very good way to get to Giverny and back in half a day. The guide is friendly and provides lots of information about Monet, Giverny, and the surrounding area on the ride to and from Giverny. At Giverny itself, the guide was there to help with photos and questions, but largely encourages free exploration of the grounds and the town. The amount of time in Giverny is perfect. This was the perfect pace for a place I had always wanted to see.

Our tour guide Kadir was excellent. On the way he prepared everyone by telling the story of Monet as we followed him by watching a digital slide show that he'd prepared. Upon arrival he walked us to Monet's property and was super clear about directions, time, suggestions of what to visit, where to eat, etc. And on the way back on the bus he asked everyone, seat by seat, if we had questions or needed suggestions of what to see, where to eat, how to use the Metro, etc. Kadir was not only knowledgeable but also very organized, articulate and made his presentation on Monet's life more interesting. We enjoyed the tour because we felt like we also learned something.

On the way, the tour guide, Kadir, prepared us for a great experience. We rated this 5 stars despite the rain. It was that amazing ?. Highly recommended. The gardens and the house really makes you feel the mindset of Monet.

Paris is a beautiful city and taking this tour I got to see the lovely countryside too. The home and gardens of Paul Monet it did not disappoint. It rained the day I went, a steady light pour just enough to get you went but not drenched. Yet, it made the experience romantic. Not in the boy meets girl romantic, the romance of walking through beautifully maintained flower gardens the air wet, clean and scented, droplets hitting the canvas ready lily ponds - it was nice. If you're a Monet fan and/or a flower lover you will love this. The visit inside the home was interesting but that kithchen - my goodness. The tour guide (Marie) was knowledgeable and clear in instructions about allowable time to visit and departure time. It was a excellent tour could have stayed there longer. To top it off when we go back to Paris Marie gave me excellent suggestion of where to go off the tourist path to eat and indulge myself with french pastries and that did not disappoint either. I had a good day but I think I said that already.

A not-so-good tour! Firstly, the tour leader was 30 minutes late. Everybody was then waiting in the freezing cold wet weather for 45 minutes (we were told to arrive 15 minutes early.) On the way to Giverny, the bus stopped twice (not sure if it was because of mechanical issues) and then there was a near accident. The tour leader didn't know a great deal about Monet. On the bus to Giverny, she read from a page of notes that sounded like it was from Wikipedia (it was very boring!) Go to Giverny, but just go on another tour!

Great October experience, the garden is spectacular and the house is a delight, The coach ride was comfortable and Hendrix the guide was entertaining, would like to do it again in the spring to see the garden in a different season
