Brune our guide was exceptional she was informative & gregarious & charming. She made sure we got to Monet’s gardens before all the large tourist buses in the morning. We had the place to ourselves for a long period of time & made the experience a very special one.

I couldn’t have loved this adventure more! The vans were very comfortable and all the driving went by quickly. We arrived at Monet’s garden nice and early to miss a lot of the crowds. We had plenty of time to see everything. Our time in Auvers-sur-Oise was so informational and lovely - again, we never felt rushed. We learned so much from both our tour of Van Gogh’s rooms as well as from our guide.
I must send a huge thanks out to our guide, Nick. I cannot express what a difference his attentive care made for helping my mom with mobility issues. He made accommodations for her multiple times without ever making anyone feel inconvenienced. He was a GREAT teacher, a safe driver and, truthfully, a really fun traveling companion. The whole vibe was great the entire day because of how he managed everything. I would give ten stars to Nick if I could!!!

Great information-our guide took us right to the perfect spots in the garden before the crowds came. It was a little too short for lunch but the restaurant recommended was delicious.

Monets garden was wonderful and his house interesting,but queues long.
Helpful to be with a guide and group though.
Van Gogh house very interesting glad we had a guided tour.

What a fantastic combination tour for art fans. Giverny this April was pretty cold (50sF) but the gardens were gorgeous and still were filled with flowers. Claude Monet's house was ok. They turned his studio into the gift shop but it was the biggest room there by far, so understandable. Giverny is a beautiful little town and we were lucky it was April and cold. We could walk freely and get photos with no people in them. I can't imagine crowd control on a summer day. Same deal later that day at Vincent Van Gogh's house and town. Cold and quiet. But such a different feeling. Monet's life was long and filled with family. Not Van Gogh's. The town where he lived for such a short time, painted dozens of his famous works and is buried is very moving. A lot of rough walking led us to various places he painted. Large signs are printed with his images and you can gaze past and see the actual subject he painted. At the restaurant where he lodged we saw a short video of his time there and stood on the same floor in his small dark room where he lived and died. Such a tragic story. Such a good way to pay respect to his art and troubled soul.
I can't urge anyone strongly enough to take a Blue Fox tour. I took two; this Giverny and Auvers Sur Oise one with my sister and a solo one to Normandy. What I received in return for the few extra dollars these small 8-person van tours cost was incalculable. This included an expert driver/guide experienced with the destination, personable and English speaking. The small group allowed all of us to ask anything about what we saw. Have no fear of booking a tour with Blue Fox.
