We were there the very last day. We got to watch the gardeners taking the waterlily pots out of the pond for the winter. Since it was "off-season" the tour was not "packed" but there were a number of visitors. The bus tour was a pleasant way to get out to the village and the village was a pleasant walk. I would avoid this place like the plague in the high season. The house was interesting and a nice compliment to the museums focused on Impressionists. And even though it was late fall the gardens were still beautiful.

Motor coach made the trip easy and relaxing. Guide offered useful insights. And the gardens are absolutely beautiful....so special to see the gardens that inspired the paintings.

The gardens are spectacular, the house less so it still of interest.
Gran an apple pie at the local restaurant at the end of the tour, you won't regret it.

We loved our outing to the Monet gardens and house! In October there were not crowds of people to contend with. The gardens were beautiful and colorful, even in the fall season. We would like to come back again in spring and summer. The guide provided an interesting overview of Monet's life while we were traveling on the bus as well as while in the gardens. Going with this company took all the stress out of planning a trip to Giverny from Paris. But we were disappointed in not having enough time to really drink it all in. After listening to the guide, we had to rush through the house and gardens and did not have enough time to go back to the lily pads and bridge. If we visit Giverny again, we'll arrange our own transportation and spend the day. As for the interesting stories told by the guide, you can find them in books about Monet. The total time from departure to arrival back in Paris is about 5 hours, of which travel time is about 1 1/2 hours each way.

Wonderful visit. Our tour guide Alexandra was very knowledgeable and helpful. The gardens were lovely and the overall experience was great. We had a semi-private (4 people) tour, which was great. Highly recommended.

Guide was excellent and enjoyable. Giverny was special! A longer visit would have been even better, but it was all just lovely; and the meeting place could be in a more convenient location, but we managed just fine.
All in all, excellent place to spend time, especially if you love Monet!

Good guide comfortable bus. BUT no longer can use toilet in bus and straight into tour once arrived so could be a problem for some. Also if you have mobility issues you will hold up others as stairs from car park to garden. Garden lovely - crowded but apparently not too bad so don’t go in peak season
