Join our passionate field guide rangers on this authentic South African Style Safari to the Pilanesberg National Park. Situated only 2 hours from Johannesburg, this 12 hour tour is the perfect option for nature lovers. The Pilanesberg is teeming with wildlife including elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard, zebra, giraffe and antelope. The tour includes the hotel pick up by our safari clad guide who will accompany you for the duration of the tour. We spend nearly 5 hours in the reserve observing and learning about the wildlife we encounter. The tour is fully inclusive. So no hidden costs and basically everything is included. (except the bribe to feed your spouse to the lions). We also like to keep our safaris pretty chilled out and would rather give the more personal experience instead of piling you kicking and screaming into a 30 seater bus with smelly, ill-mannered tourists.

We did Pilansberg safari with this amazing company .Darren and his team are excellent . We had a lifetime safari experience at Pilansberg. Campfire were amazing. Our driver Harry was well experienced and friendly. We highly recommend South Africa Adventures Company for all tours and hiking in SA. We will back to SA again for our Drakensberg hike .😍
Suu you soon all.

Very good service from the pickup at my hotel until the drop off. So they picked me at my hotel ar 6am, then drove my to a minibus and from then to Pilanesberg. The tour inside the park started at 9am and lasted until 3pm. We saw elephants, rhinos (one very nice sighting from very close), hippos from a bit far, giraffes, zebras, plenty of impala, etc. To see lions, buffalos and leopards apparently you need to be very lucky. But overall, it's a must do from Pretoria, very easy. I was back at my hotel at 5pm30.

I had such a wonderful time, the team have gone over the top to make this experience the trip of my life. Even with last minute requests, they’ll make sure to find you the best accommodation and Game Drivers. I slept at the Ivory Tree Game Lodge which was fantastic and I went on four game drives in two days. The best drive was the evening one, when no other tourists were around in the park.
I was so pleased that I decided to book also the Soweto Tour and Cape Peninsula Tour, both experiences were unique and private.
I truly recommend and I will contact them again when I’ll return!

Nobody came to the pickup and I was unable to contact the operator by any means - email, WhatsApp, phone calls were all unanswered. So don’t book, because there won’t be any safari.

As I was in Johannesburg alone for business, I only had one free day so booked for a one day safari.
Unfortunately the office did not give the driver the correct hotel details for my 6.am pick up so didn’t get collected till 7.am but apart from that it was an amazing day. My driver and Guide “Ben” was a brilliant companion and we found so many animals, including cheaters and a female Lion! Best was an Elephant having a mud bath right next to the road. Wow.
Thank you for a fabulous day.

We loved the safari!!! We actually booked it through Expedia but it was super difficult and I won’t use Expedia again- so heads up to book it through trip advisor (and more affordable)
We saw 3 of the big 5 and our guide, Ben, was awesome at spotting animals we never would have seen! We learned a lot and loved our experience. I would definitely recommend it, just make it through trip advisor !

The safari in the open vehicle was great and we saw loads of animals. Unfortunately in the afternoon we had an enclosed vehicle which didn’t have air conditioning or windows that opened in the back so at 35 degrees made for a very up pleasant trip and we were unable to take any pictures.

The one day safari was unbelievable. Close-up's with giraffes, zebra, wildebeests, warthogs, a HERD of elephants, kudu, springbok, and more. Cheetah and Rhino were visible but from a distance. Final encounter of the day was with a pair of lions from about 100 yards. The vehicle was in excellent condition, and our guide, Herman?, was wonderful. The only less positive aspect was the ride from the hotel to the park. First, it was more like 2.5 hours than the 2 indicated. The van was a little ragged and crowded. The driver was driving pretty quickly on very bumpy roads. Not for the faint of heart. But the ride was worth the final product. A once in a lifetime experience.

Really enjoyed my outing. Highly recommend those visiting Johannesburg for the first time to do this day trip. Was lucky to encounter many animals on the day. Obviously in nature, there is no gurantee.

More importantly, we saw the big 5. Our guide Norman was awesome getting us good spots to view the Lion Kill and the best view of the Leopard. Got to see the elephants taking a bath and also got a nice close-up with the giraffes.
