The Giza Pyramid Complex, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt that includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also includes several cemeteries and the remains of a workers village. The site is at the edges of the Western Desert, approximately 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) west of the Nile River in the city of Giza, and about 13 kilometers (8 mi) southwest of the city center of Cairo.
2. Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
Khufu's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated

Menkaure's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the valley temple

Khafre's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple and the king's pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre. Several were found in a well in the floor of the temple by Mariette in 1860

The Bent Pyramid is an ancient Egyptian pyramid located at the royal necropolis of Dahshur, approximately 40 kilometres south of Cairo, built under the Old Kingdom Pharaoh Sneferu (c. 2600 BC). A unique example of early pyramid development in Egypt, this was the second pyramid built by Sneferu. The Bent Pyramid rises from the desert at a 54-degree inclination, but the top section (above 47 metres) is built at the shallower angle of 43 degrees, lending the pyramid its very obvious 'bent' appearance.

The Red Pyramid, also called the North Pyramid, is the largest of the three major pyramids located at the Dahshur necropolis in Cairo, Egypt. Named for the rusty reddish hue of its red limestone stones, it is also the third largest Egyptian pyramid, after those of Khufu and Khafra at Giza. It is also believed to be Egypt's first successful attempt at constructing a "true" smooth-sided pyramid. Local residents refer to the Red Pyramid as el-heram el-watwaat, meaning the Bat Pyramid. The Red Pyramid was not always red. It used to be cased with white Tura limestone, but only a few of these stones now remain at the pyramid's base, at the corner. Well, the tour started very good and he (i think his name was mahmoud) was so informative but then he started to be little passive aggressive regarding times we spent on the sites. We finished 1 hour earlier than what was on the tour because we felt the pressure from him coming and asking us if everything is ok in every minute although he said he would gives us 5-10 minutes to look around. This was our second week in Egypt so we did almost everything so many times like going to papyrus shops or perfume shops so many times. And when he asked us to take us those places we said we have already been taken same places too many times and we would like to pass it, he became more aggressive to the point he stopped answering our questions of sites we visited. We also wanted to not ride a camel around the pyramids as we did before and he again became more aggressive and keep pushing us. He started to only talk with the driver in arabic.
The road of the tour is AMAZING but the guide is horrible. Driver was so nice though, he kept smiling us.

Our day trip to Giza Pyramids, Memphis City, Dahshur and Saqqara Pyramids couldn't be any better. The driver Adel and our awesome tour guide Kareem were already waiting for us at the airport before we arrived. They spend the entire day with us showing us their beautiful city. Kareem was very knowledgeable and apparently very famous as he knew everyone, so looks like we got a VIP tour. Kareem answered each and every question patiently and told us all about the history in a fun and easy way. Adel was amazing driver dropping us at the right spot and picking us again to ensure we don't have to walk too much. Thank you Kareem and Adel for making our day memorable.

The excursion was perfect.
Very punctual and after 8 hours, back at the Hotel.
The driver took us perfectly through the crazy Cairo traffic.
The guide, Reham, speaks perfect Spanish and made the visits easy.
You will have to stop at a couple of stores during the tour, but that's understandable and it's also part of the business. Personally I understand and accept it.
I made some purchases, even knowing that I was probably being scammed.
But these are difficult times and if you can help these people a little, a few euros or so won't make me poorer. I like Egyptians.
The food place is touristy and little else. But after several days I haven't gotten sick, so I guess the food was good.
Enjoy Egypt and be patient with the tip seekers.

I booked the driver only trip so no tickets are included. It's a mix of tourist place and shops. The driver is friendly despite coming 1 hourlate. I managed to tell the driver not to go to the shops so I don't need to waste my time. The Giza was the highlight and the first stop of the trip. All the following places are not as exciting as the first stop. It's a nice day with good memory.

Our guide Mohammed was great. He was punctual, finished the trip on time. He explained the right amount of history and never bored us and also helped us to take photos. Very jovial and energetic guy, he played indian-arabic remix songs while traveling. He knows his customers very well.

I had a private trip with Mohamed Hemeda as guide and Ahmed as driver. I traveled alone in Cairo and I really enjoyed the time in their company. Mohamed provided precious informations regarding Egypt history. He ‘s been very kind and patient. He also took me a lot of pictures in each visited places. Along the way we stoped for visiting a carpet factory, papirus factory and other beautiful places. We spent together 9 hours. He arrived a few minutes earlier and picked me up from the hotel. We stoped also for the lunch in a very nice ristorant with a buffet serving. The price paid for this amazing trip worth indeed.
