We will take you to the Benedictine abbey of Montecassino.
The second oldest monastery in Italy, destroyed during the Second World War.
rebuilt and consecrated by Pope Paul VI in the year 1964.
Then the Monastery of San Benedetto.
It is one of the most significant spiritual places for the Church. Built almost a thousand years ago, it has the task of guarding the cave where the young Benedict of Norcia spent a period of hermit life, before devoting himself to the cenobitic life.
An incredible spiritual and artistic experience that you will not be able to forget.

This was my second tour with Italian Dreams - and it was as excellent as the first tour with them. Theresa and Claudio, our guide and our driver, were kind, conscientious, attentive, and helpful. Theresa was delightful as we made our way into the mountains heading up to Subiaco and then over to Monte Cassino. She helped make this tour memorable. Theresa was also very accommodating as sometimes walking is a bit difficult for me.
Being able to visit both sites where St. Benedict lived was a highlight of my time in Italy and Theresa helped make this even more special. I am so grateful to Italian Dreams for making this tour possible.
