Albino Eye Glacier Trekking
The adventure has a total distance of 19 km where we cross the Tierra Mayor valley (one of the largest wetlands), we cross the fantastic nothofagus forest, we visit the Esmeralda lagoon and also some beavers.
Depending on the season of the year we will find different scenarios.
During the summer we will be able to see incredible icebergs floating on the glacier, a product of the great retreat that it presents. During the winter we have the possibility of approaching the magnificent ice walls of the glacier front thanks to its frozen lagoon, an epic experience.
Undoubtedly, this trek is one of the most complete that you can do in Ushuaia. Adventure, the passage of glaciers in time and fantastic views are something that this proposal offers for those who have sufficient physical condition and are always looking for a challenge!

Trekking with Emiliano and his colleagues was wonderful. Nice guys, prepared, available to adapt to the needs of the group and super hospitable. Once we reached the summit, with a spectacular view, they offered us hot chocolate, chocolates and a liqueur whose name I don't remember. Trekking with them is super recommended and Ojio de Albino is fantastic. Don't miss it!

Emi is an excellent guide, always aware of how the road was going, and keeping an appropriate pace for the group.
In my case, albino eye trekking was done.
I recommend it 100%

We took the excursion with Luciano and Emiliano and it was wonderful! They were very careful and explained everything to us very well. Excellent experience

This excursion was the first one I booked several months ago. I was so looking forward to it. We were on a one month trip and this was the day I was looking forward to to the most. At the last minute the night before the excursion, they notified me it was 12 hours, which I could not do because I was coming from a cruise ship, which they knew well in advance. They recommended we meet at 7 AM instead of 7:30 AM and we obliged. We ended up waiting for the guide) until after 7:30 AM. Only to realize that we still didn’t have enough time to complete the glacier hike. We asked if there was another hike to do that would be shorter and he suggested one I said OK let’s do that. he said we couldn’t because there were other people booked on this tour. I said, but we paid for a private tour and we knew about all of this well in advance. So no, I do not recommend this company or this excursion. And on the listing it shows that the excursion is 7 to 8 hours not what they told me at the last minute to be 12 hours. Extremely disappointed as I had planned this one so far in advance, and was supposed to be the highlight of my trip.

Very good, you pass through the Esmeralda lagoon and continue the ascent. You have to have a little preparation
physical. The landscapes are beautiful and the views are impressive. Highly recommended. From the base it is 3.5 hours at a bearable pace.

Wonderful route with the guides Emiliano and Felix with description of everything we encountered during the trek. The final part of the trek is a little challenging but no problems with the guides.

Perfect experience from start to finish, from the communication via WhatsApp with Emiliano who explained everything to us, then passing into the hands of Damián.
We had already done some trekking on our own, and this time we decided to hire the guide service to avoid inconveniences.
They picked us up at the hotel very early, they explained to us what we were going to do, they have everything we need for each opportunity, etc.
What we all liked most (family group of 5 people) was the friendliness and education with which Damián treated us. At all times we feel cared for and protected. He was carrying a heavy backpack from which came a thermos of hot coffee at the coldest moment in Ojo del Albino, he also lent us some mittens!
Constantly checking the physical (and emotional) state of each one.
He also had to rush out to save my wife because she was sliding down the hill without being able to stop. It arrived in 3 seconds!!
The “almost” in the title is because the Albino winked at us, it was all snowy!!
1000% recommended to hire the services of 54 Trek Expeditions.

Excellent excursion! A level of demand that we were all able to meet and that allowed us to enjoy ourselves a lot! A genius Félix, our guide, and all the people with whom we had contacts prior to the excursion. Everyone very friendly. The incredible place, it is worth getting there. Patagonia surprises us at every step!
