My husband and I booked this tour as part of our honeymoon trip. We were the only ones that day so we had a private tour!
We had a great time in Las Playas and the natural waterslide, but I recommend you bring water shoes for that part because you have to go through a lot of mud to get to the river. Our driver had life vests available but we were fine in the water without them.
Then, at 1pm, we did the zip lining at Rainforest Zipline Park which was amazing! We must’ve done eight or nine different lines over the forest. Even if you don’t book this tour, you should definitely go to the zip line park!
Finally, we were dropped off at Luquillo Beach where we had lunch and hung out on the beach. Having a driver for this part was awesome because there was NOWHERE to park.
Some suggestions for improvement:
-It would’ve been cool if our driver stuck around the zipline park and took pictures
-Our driver was a little late picking us up, due to traffic, but he could’ve communicated to us that he’d be later than he initially expected.
-We were pretty hungry after Las Playas, so it might make sense to rearrange the tour to have lunch closer to noon or one.

Such a fabulous trip!!! Ruben is The Man and he truly loves this island. His brother has great tunes for the drive home.
I was picked up on time and the last to board, but we were one of the first groups to the natural springs/water slides.
Definitely pack extra socks/shoes. I'm a forest sprite at heart, so I went barefoot through the forest, but I would not recommend that for everyone. You will get mud on your shoes.
I would pack a Cliff Bar because the water slides are exhilarating enough that you'll burn through even a great breakfast by the time you get to the zip line park.
Everyone was so great about making sure we got enough water, and the water bottles were plentiful!
Zip lining was fantastic and the views of El Yunque were breathtaking. People talk about the max weight limit being 250, but on the flip-side, if you're 115lbs, you might get a 100lb buddy doubled up with you on the longest run just to make sure you make it all the way. I've been ziplining before, so this wasn't new to me, but I felt for the person who might not have expected to be holding on to me.
Ending the day at Luquillo Beach was :chefkiss: the end to a perfect day. Definitely get a fruit smoothie from Fruitty World while You're there!

This full-day tour is a showstopper and a must-do! Our tour guide, Ruben from Pepeko Tours, was great! Our stop at the river waters was exhilarating as we experienced the natural water slides and cliff diving. Our time at the Zipline Park was amazing, and we got an adrenaline rush! There are 8 lines of different heights and lengths. They encourage you to go at your own pace and comfort. AND whatever you do, you have to complete the last two lines! Trust me you will not regret it! The Staff were courteous, professional, and experts in their craft! We plan to go back every time we visit the island! Finishing this tour at Luquillo Beach was perfect as we unwind with delicious food, beach walking, and souvenir shopping.

The tour had been amazing Reuven had been a delight and had accommodated me and my family with an experience that I would never forget. He had done an amazing tour of the natural springs and I had a great time ziplinining as my best friend and sister did not want to join me. After the zipline we had gone to Luquillo beach and had a lot of fun relaxing. I definitely recommend booking with Pepeko Tours, they are responsible and very understanding and make the experience a lot of fun!!!

Experience was exactly as advertised! Ruben was a great, timely and knowledgeable guide and kept the ride entertaining! There was plenty of time for each stop and he took wonderful pictures of us!

The zip line was the best part of the tour.
The rest of the activities were not really a tour. They just dropped us off and give us a time. Pick up was very late hence everything was rushed.

As a black female traveler my experiences range by subject. I’m regards to the sights and the weather, I’d say that the unpredictable weather in all regions of planet earth has become a norm. Tropical
Climates tend to rain spiratically now more than ever. That is expected. The sights were gorgeous. We climbed rocks in the forest as water slides and waterfalls became such an exciting destination. My children are 14, 9 and 7 and all plus my husband complained until we got to the r refreshing river and photesque falls. They should know me by now. I am a advocate for adventure and memories as long as they are safe.
The treatment varied in PR. We are a mixed race family, but felt comfy with the little Spanish we knew.
I’d recommend the tour…

Had an amazing time! Our tour guide was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He walked us through the rainforest and helped us slide down the slides safely. Fun was had by all from teenagers to adults. The ziplining was a blast!

As a first time tourist here with 15 year twin daughters in tow, and not being familiar with anything, that could lead to be apprehension.
But do not worry!. Everything is really safe! Very organized. Great staff! Get out there and experience everything you possibly can! The staff out there is very friendly and it’s a wonderful experience to zip line over the canopy of the rainforest, and slide down that natural water slide! It’s a lifetime memory that we’ll cherish forever!
