1. Escadaria Selaron
See Escadaria Selarón, also known as the 'Selaron Steps', which is a set of world-famous steps in Lapa. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
2. Carioca Aqueduct
The Carioca Aqueduct wich is an old aqueduct in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The aqueduct was built in the middle of the 18th century to bring fresh water from the Carioca River to the population of the city. It is a typical example of colonial architecture and engineering.
3. Centro Cultural Municipal Parque das Ruinas
Depending on your hotel location and the itinerary of the tour we will see Santa Teresa – Ruins Park. Parque das Ruínas is a public park with an art gallery built around the ruins of a mansion, located in the Santa Teresa neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
4. The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian

The Museum of Tomorrow is a science museum in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was designed by Spanish neo-futuristic architect Santiago Calatrava and built next to the waterfront at Pier Maua.

We will see Dona Marta View Point. Cliffside's lookout point offers expansive, panoramic views of Rio and the Christ the Redeemer statue.

Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon is a lagoon in the district of Lagoa in the Zona Sul area of Rio de Janeiro. The lagoon is connected to the Atlantic Ocean, allowing seawater to enter by a canal along the edge of a park locally known as Jardim de Allah.
21. Copacabana Beach
The iconic, 2.5-mile beach features a wide, sandy expanse, bustling promenade, food kiosks & hotels.

See Ipanema Beach. A long, popular stretch of beach known for sunbathing, along with soccer & volleyball.

Arpoador is a region located on the southern zone of the city Rio de Janeiro, in a small peninsula between Ipanema and Copacabana. Part of its territory belongs to the neighbourhood of Ipanema, and part to Copacabana.

At the end of the famous Leblon beach, there is a scenic mountaintop viewpoint.

The Botanical Garden shows the diversity of Brazilian and foreign flora. There are around 6,500 species distributed throughout an area of 54 hectares as well as numerous greenhouses.

The trail is relatively easy and from the top is possible to see the whole carioca South area.

We will hike Pedra Bonita mountain. Unique geological formation with a hiking trail & hang-gliding port offering panoramic vistas.

Full day with Daniel Cabral. He is wonderful. Perfect English. Native of Rio. We drove, walked, took pictures, had lunch, saw many sites on our customized itinerary. Lots of laughter. Learned history of Rio and Brazil. Could not have been better.

We only had a few days is Rio and booked Luis as our tour guide for the day. What a fantastic choice; he made the day very memorable for my two friends and l. We visited the statue of the Christ, Sugar Loaf Mountain and nearby beach, a local market and the beauftiful area of Santa Theresa. Luis had great knowledge and brilliant English and explained history and culture in a very engaging way. I am a wheelchair user and he made sure l didn’t miss out on any of the fun. Thank you Luis.

We contacted Danny by email a few months before our trip, and communication was outstanding via email and WhatsApp. We only had a day and half in Rio, and he met us at the airport on the morning of our arrival, to our hotel to drop off our luggage, and then on a full-day trip to the major sites, including Christ the Redeemer, the Cathedral, Selaron Steps, and several neighborhoods we would never have explored on our own, including lunch in a charming restaurant with typical Brazilian food. The next morning, we went to Sugarloaf, and he dropped us off at our cruise ship for our noon arrival. Danny is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, with excellent English. He was very responsive to our requests, and we felt very secure knowing that we would take care of both our airport pick up and cruise port drop-off. We highly recommend Danny as a private guide to Rio.

We had a private tour with Marcio who was an absolute gent! He gave us so much Information throughout the day and nothing was too much trouble for him. He took us everywhere that we wanted to go and even said he would help us with football tickets for later in the week if we needed them. We had the perfect day and made memories we will never forget. Daniel was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. I sent him a list of the places we wanted to visit in Rio & he arranged an itinerary that we could do in 8 hours. He was on time picking us up, he was very organized and also informative. We loved spending the day with him including the lunch we had at a typical Brazilian restaurant in Santa Teresa. We highly recommend Daniel.

Myself and my wife had an excellent city tour with Daniel. The booking process was informal by email but very smooth. He will tailor the tour to what you are interested in, plus he included some nice surprises we didn't know about, for example a coffeee shop and an amazing library. His knowledge was impressive, not only about the historic places but he also offered views on anything about brazilian life we were interested in. On top of all that, he was a nice guy and very good company. I can't think of any way the tour could be improved. It was exceptional.
