On this excursion you will find a variety of activities and guided tours of the Rosario Islands
On the Island of Bocachica there will be a panoramic where you will hear a review about the place and the Fort of San Fernando, we make a panoramic tour of the Archipelago of the Rosario Islands 27 Islands in total, snorkeling is done in Isla Grande where you will appreciate a diversity coral reefs, fish and even a small plane at the bottom of the sea, then we will visit Cholón Island, better known as the party islands where they will have a seafood tasting, we will go to Agua Azul where they will enjoy a fruit tasting and sea bath in one of the most beautiful beaches of the Archipelago, our last stop is in Playa Tranquila where they will have a delicious typical lunch of several options
At night we will have the nocturnal activity of the luminous plankton and we return to the hotels at 8:00 pm in an air-conditioned bus
The activities are carried out with qualified tourist guides

I don’t recommend this tour- the tour guides are very rude and you are on a small boat with 30 other people all day. You only stop on the islands for 30 minutes and the snorkeling is really not worth your time

Loved the tour guides ( Camilo and Javier ), get a better boat please and ladder. Javier and Camilo were very helpful. They were friendly. Also snorkeling wasn’t that fun as we didn’t get any fins and mouthpiece.

Crew was amazing. Enjoyable day. The lunch spot was awesome with small pools to lounge in, and by, food great and hammocks to swing on lazily. All drinks were a little pricey, but this is how they survive, so I don’t mind. The place you go to stand in the water at tables was busy, bustling and fun. You could grab some fresh oysters off a surfboard passing by or rent a jet ski. The conditions were not good for the plankton viewing. No fault of the tour, but it cut the tour down by 3 hours and an island. If no plankton are available that day- tour should offer one more alternative island. Wear water shoes. The last island we went to was full of sharp coral and you couldn’t go in the water safely.

Advertised five islands but only visited three. The last stop was supposed to show us some electrified fish that light up in the water at night and we did not see even one. It's a very long day. pick up was supposed to be at 7:30. We made it to the meeting point on time but the organizers were late. we did not start the tour until 10:00 a.m. and then we finished at 8:00 p.m. with a long bus ride to take us back. I would not recommend this tour.

Overall poor experience.
We were expecting a full day trip, with stops at multiple islands, ending with the luminescent plankton, and returning at 8pm. But after our first snorkel stop the guide announced that we would do neither the main beach stop, nor the plankton stop. He blamed weather and high waves (I don’t know if this was true or not but it seemed strange excuse given the weather was a beautiful day, the sea was calm, we didn’t encounter any big waves while out on the ocean). So the tour was essentially cut in half and we ended up returning to the city at 3-4pm.
The longer stops we DID do were at the “party island” and then a small beach. The scenery was beautiful but these stops were really just traps where we got aggressively (and I mean really aggressively) harassed by vendors trying to sell jet-skis, massages, drugs(!) etc. They didn’t take no for an answer. There was food and drink to buy but it was generally very very expensive (for example there was a mixed grille on the menu for $90 and cocktails for up to $50. That’s USD). There were some cheaper options like mango for 20k COP, but it still felt like the whole thing was a big trap.
There was no apology for half of our tour being cancelled and no offer for any refund. Instead, the guide was still asking for more tips.
I don’t see the point in doing this tour. If you want to visit the “party island” (which I wouldn’t recommend) then may as well do that as a stand-alone tour and pay half the price.

Alex is the best tour guide! Very informative and fun. It was the perfect mix of relaxing and partying. The bioluminescent plankton is okay but I glad I was able to experience it and I don’t regret staying the extra 3 hours or so to do it. The few downsides are that there are many sellers everywhere which is annoying. Bargain with them and you can get lower prices. The bus ride back after the plankton is about an hour which sucks when your wet from swimming lol

We did the 5 island tour and it was amazing! Our tour guide Jafrey made the trip extra special, he was very energetic and very funny. Jafrey definitely made the trip better, I recommend asking for him to tour!

The trip price was great. To get a trip that last 14 hours, 5 islands that included a full lunch and a snack, it was worth it. I didn't realize seeing the plankton would require a night dip in the lagoon. That part didn't last long but it was a great experience. There was one unruly customer in the group but the tour guides handled him well. The party island has over priced drinks so beware. Bring water as well because none is supplied on the trip.

I’m giving this 4 stars because our guide Jefat was super fun, helpful and did his absolute best to make sure everyone had a good experience. With that being said, they don’t provide proper snorkeling gear (they don’t give you a tube because of COVID??) and the boat was overcrowded and I was basically sitting in someone’s lap. We still had a really amazing time and the scenery is beautiful, the island they take you to for lunch was amazing and the food was delicious. Overall a positive experience but for the price they should have made the boat a little less crowded and gave us better gear so we could actually snorkel.
