Discover the beauties and secrets that Valparaíso and Viña del Mar hide in a 10-hour tour. These two sister cities are only 120 kilometers from the capital Santiago. Accompanied by a guide, you will enter the ancient streets and hills of what was the most important port of the South Pacific in the nineteenth century. Meet the picturesque funiculars of Valparaíso and other features that made it a World Heritage Site. Stroll through Viña del Mar and Reñaca its beautiful beaches. 1. Casablanca
We will make our first stop at Rio Tinto Supermercado del Vino in the heart of the Casablanca valley, all the vineyards in one place, to have breakfast (not included in the value) and occupy bathrooms.
2. Valparaiso
We will visit this beautiful city, captivate yourself with the crazy architecture of the World Heritage City, we will walk through its narrow streets, endless stairs, historic elevators, its multiple viewpoints, murals and colorful houses on Cerro Alegre and Cerro Concepcion.
3. La Sebastiana
La Sebastiana is one of three houses—along with La Chascona in Santiago and Casa de Isla Negra—that were owned by the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. Located in Valparaíso, on Cerro Bellavista, it stands out for the beauty of its construction and its magnificent view of the port bay. Like the other two, it is converted into a museum administered by the Neruda Foundation, we will make a panoramic visit.
4. Cerro Concepcion
The Alegre and Concepción hills are located in the city of Valparaíso, in the V Region. Delimited from each other by Urriola street, they historically make up a unitary sector, urbanized and built largely by English and German immigrants, from the first half of the 19th century, in an organized and planned way, we will walk through its picturesque streets for about 1 hour .
5. Cerro Alegre
The Alegre and Concepción hills are located in the city of Valparaíso, in the V Region. Delimited from each other by Urriola street, they historically make up a unitary sector, urbanized and built largely by English and German immigrants, from the first half of the 19th century, in an organized and planned way, we will walk through its picturesque streets for about 1 hour .
6. Plaza Sotomayor
Plaza Sotomayor is a square located in the Chilean city of Valparaíso. Considered the largest civic center in the city, as well as the main axis of the Barrio Puerto, important buildings are located there, such as the Monument to the Heroes of Iquique, where the remains of Arturo Prat lie, and the Chilean Navy Building, corresponding to the old Intendancy.1 Currently it is also constituted as an important archaeological center, since in its subsoil are located the remains of the first public dock of the port built with the remains of the Esmeralda frigate captured by Thomas Cochrane from the Spanish navy.
7. Vina del Mar
The history of Viña del Mar begins with the arrival of the conquistadors and the division of the Peuco Valley into two large haciendas: the "Seven Sisters", named after the seven hills that are located between Cerro Castillo and Cerro Barón, and "La Viña del Mar", named after the vineyards planted on the land now occupied by the Palacio Rioja. Around 1870, the sole heiress of the lands that gave rise to Viña del Mar was Doña Mercedes Álvarez, married to José Francisco Vergara, an engineer who had come to the region to work on the railway works. It was he who drew up a project, approved on December 29, 1874, through which the city of Viña del Mar was officially founded, and five years later, the Illustrious Municipality.
8. Playa Renaca
From the north, and after Cochoa, Reñaca beach is the second coastal area of the city of Viña del Mar. Subdivided into sectors, from 1st to 5th, this series of beach resorts is one of the busiest during the summer. Each sector has an attractive gastronomic, sports and service offer, which makes each one of them the ideal place to enjoy the long summer days and, also, for walks during the rest of the year.

We went with Felipe and the driver Víctor. It was a wonderful day trip, english and Spanish, tour interesting and funny in Santiago, Viña del Mar and Playa Regnata, where we stop for Lunch and a walk along the beach

The tour was paid in advance with a credit card, but the scheduled day coincided with the fires in the region. I am waiting for a refund of the amounts paid, so far no response has been received from Tripadvisor or the tour operator.

Wow! What a full day! We only had one day in Santiago and this was a great way to spend it! We got to see a lot of everything for a really great price. The guide was well organized and experienced and we learned a lot. The day is filled with jumping off and on the bus at a lot of different sites. The only thing is if you're looking for wine tasting this isn't it, but it's not advertised to be, so it was fine for us. They do do a stop at Casa blanca and you get a tiny taste of 3 or 4 different wines-none of which were very good in my opinon, but you can say you did it I guess. Overall great tour!

We stayed a few days in Santiago after our cruise. We truely enjoyed this full day guided tour. Our guide Catalina is an excellent English speaking guide. She guided us through the super confusing streets of Vina del Mar, will definetly got lost without a guide. The "Street arts" are amazingly beautiful. Catalina took us to the best photo spots and she is an excellent photographer. The rest of the tour are beautiful too. We enjoyed the whole tour very much. If you are lucky, you may have Catalina. Last but not least, the price is so affortable!

A great tour, the guide/driver Fernando was excellent, speaks Portuguese very well, is fun and with great explanations. Most of the tour takes place in the van, and we stop at places to see and we get out to take photos. The night before, a message is sent with the time they will pick up at the hotel (in my case it was 07:10), on the way there is a stop for coffee and there is a wine tasting and souvenir shop, as I managed to eat before I ended up not seeing the coffee prices. At lunch time, we stop at a pre-established restaurant, but there seem to be other options around. We ended up staying there with the whole group, the food is expensive (around 20000 CLP), but the dishes are large and well served, making it possible to share. Overall a good experience, we enjoyed the tour.

Pablo was a great tour guide. Very informative and was great at speaking both Spanish and English so everyone on the trip could understand him.
Gave a good taste of all the areas we visited, a fully packed day but a good trip to do.

All the stars are only for our guide Sergio that was really good, anyway we was disappointed because it was impossible for us to visit the house of Pablo Neruda "LA SEBASTIANA". In the tour was planned the visit for about 20 minutes of stop, but we arrived too early and the house was closed ... I asked if it was possible to go back but I was told no. If you want to see that house is better if you choose another tour.

Pick up at 8:00 instead of 6:30. We waited an hour and half.
This was advertised as English and Spanish. There are 17 of us and only 2 that needed English, one was bilingual He started out talking 20 minutes in Spanish and about 4 minutes English.
He starts in English after talking in Spanish but falls back to Spainish. .
He did try but when 14 people speak Spanish and you have to wait 10 minutes then he turns to you two and says 2 sentences in English and goes on to the next thing it is frustrating.
He lost 2 people for awhile and got upset and never really cared afterwards. He never talked again and actually fell asleep on the hour and half back.
The traffic was bad coming in so he dropped us off about a mile from our hotel even though we said we did not know where we were and asked him to take us to the hotel. He was very dismissive. This is the first time I have been disappointed in Viator.

The guide was amazing.
We loved getting to know Valparaíso and Viña del Mar.
It is not a cheap country but it is nice.
