The Excursion begins when we pick you up in our minibus with its driver and a professional tour guide, to go to Los Glaciares National Park.

In a journey of almost 80 km until we reach the park, we will enjoy the beautiful landscape of Patagonia that paints us with mountains, lakes and forests.

Already in Los Glaciars National Park, you will observe the most characteristic species of the Patagonian forests.

We will arrive at the walkways of the Perito Moreno Glacier, where we can walk up to 5.5km of walkways at different levels and locations that will give us a unique perspective of all angles of the blue and white majesty of the Glacier.

We will have time to have lunch at one of the restaurants located in the park.

Finally, late in the afternoon, we will return to El Calafate.

Everything went smooth from the pickup to the very end until drop off at our place in El Calafate. Francisco spoke both languages so information was in spanish and english which made it possible to learn some insights on Patagonian life near the mountains for nonspanish speakers. The drive to the glacier itself was enjoyable and both guys were always on the lookout for everyone. There are toilet breaks budgeted in the route so no worries for those who drink a lot of water for their breakfast. Timing is well planned for a very relaxed exploring of the glacier walkways- so take your time (and pack some picnic with you) to enjoy the views.
There was an optional boat tour at around $30 provided by third party which was well worth if this is your first time seeing massive 70m ice walls.
Thank you Francisco and Oswaldo for taking care of us during this trip.
