Don't be late for pick up. They pick u up from hotel, but you will have to get on a bigger bus for the tours at a stop point. Bring extra peso for the tax charge, 480 pesos.
On a day this this, sunny and cloudy with the perfect weather, the visit was breath taking! Never thought I would see a pink lake but wow really was that beautiful! Also, these tour guides at the las coloradas sites really know how to take pictures! Dang they knew how to work the camera for the insta! Please tip them if you can they derserve it!
The boat ride ro wild flamingos and wild crocs are cool too. Again, the beautiful sunny day made everything so much more lovely!

Deep in the Mayan jungle, our Yucatan adventure was unforgettable! Our guide, Daniel, wasn't "your average leader". He was a jungle explorer with infectious energy.
Daniel unlocked the jungle's secrets (flamingos included!), but his true magic was his enthusiasm. Every turn became a thrilling discovery. This wasn't a sightseeing, it was immersion! We met flamingos in a pink lagoon (seriously wow!), cruised mangroves by boat, and even embraced our inner mud monsters (trust us, it's a blast!).

Just got back from this epic tour to Coloradas and Rio Lagartos.
Our guide Daniel, was seriously the best. He knew everything there was to know about the place, from the crazy pink lakes (thanks, tiny organisms!) to the coolest birds we spotted. He wasn't just a walking encyclopedia though; he was super friendly and made the whole trip a hit.
Seeing those flamingos in the wild was unreal, and the boat ride through the mangroves was like something out of a movie. We even got to take a mud bath, which sounds weird, but trust me, it was awesome!
If you're looking for a fun and informative way to see this part of Mexico, this tour is the way to go. Especially if you can snag Daniel as your guide. That guy's a legend and the guys from the agency were superb!
Seriously, can't recommend it enough!

The Lake coloradas was beautifully pink and we took many beautiful and colourful pictures, after the lake we went for a speedy boat ride around Rio Lagartos to see the flamingoes and crocodiles. We got some amazing photos of the crocodiles and also of a few nosy pelicans :) It was a full day trip of adventures and we almost did not make it back in time, but the very helpful staff from Tourballoon Travel Experiences made sure we made our flight home.

It was beautiful both at the pink lake and Rio Lagartos, where we saw some flamingos and an alligator. However, we were somewhat surprised by the length of the trip, which deviated from the original description, but received very impressive support from the company, which ensured that we reached our flight.

If you’re looking for a unique and interesting place to visit that’s off the beaten path, this is the tour for you. Fair warning, there is a LONG drive to get there so keep that in mind.
The pink waters are so beautiful and your pictures will stun your friends. You can’t go in the water since the lake is part of the salt extraction process that causes the water to be pink, but you can get very close and it’s awesome!
The boat ride is great after being in the car so long. The water is lovely and the mud treatment will leave your skin feeling so soft. Wear water shoes!
The meal after the boat ride was fantastic, and the ability to take a shower and change into clean clothes was wonderful.

We visited the famous Las Coloradas lakes, which are seriously pink. Not like a Pepto-Bismol pink, but more of a flamingo pink, which we saw plenty of later in the day! The scenery was unreal, and we got tons of amazing photos.
The boat trip through the Rio Lagartos mangroves was incredible. We saw so many birds, including, of course, the majestic flamingos. It was like stepping into a wildlife documentary! The guide was great at pointing out different species and explaining the importance of the ecosystem.
We finished the day with a mud bath in a natural spa. It was a fun and unexpected way to relax after a day of exploring. Plus, the mud is supposed to be amazing for your skin, so win-win!
This tour was well worth the money. The transportation was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a fantastic time and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Yucatan!

We knew Yucatan was far from Cancun but it's really worthy. This is a different type of experience into a difference type of place.
Our bus took us to the edge of the Yucatan Peninsula, to a small town called " Rio Lagartos" here is where the action is. A fishermen place, away from modernity. We started our boat ride in a very calm water. You can feel the wind in your face, hear the noise of the nature and see the amazing pink palette of tones in the waters that the flamingos walk in hundreds.
We met some other funny animals along the way, like raccoons, monkeys, parrots and crocodiles (they were at the farm).
Very well organized, nice customer service, excellent food choices.
Very recommended!

Amazing trip, full of eye candies! Las Coloradas and Rio Lagartos is one of those trips that impress you so much that you don't want to go. We loved how everything has that sense of being tailored, it never misses the concept of being a tour to meet nature and the pink waters and pink flamingos, it's just astonishing! Choices of food are seafood and Mexican Food. Very good service and attention. Don't miss it!
