We spend a really nice tour with Smiley (the guide) and the young driver. They were on time in our hotel to pick us up and visit the most important tombs and temples in Luxor. We spend 8h hours running around the west and east side, listening Smiley explanations. The tour was really flexible with some extra proposals like bazar or take a lunch in the boat on Nile River. We only did the things explainesd in the website.
Smiley (the guide) was really friendly, explaining the most important things in every place, he gives us the time that we need to visit and walk in all the historical places, he answered all the questions that we had and we have had a great conversation all time.
The driver doesn't speak a lot, because his English was low but he was kind and nice all timee drives really good with these crazy streets that they live and kindly opened the car door for us.
If you don't have a lot of time in Luxor is a really good tour to do, because you go in Kings Valley, Queens Valley, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, in only one day! Otherwise it may be nice to do it deeper in two days.

Mahmoud is a great guy with a deep knowledge of the Egyptian history! If it was not him, we would have not be able to see all remarkable places in Luxor in just one day. What is even better, it did not feel like we are in a rush - we took a very nice lunch break to the banana island (recommended). Overall it was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks a lot Mahmoud it was a pleasure to have you as our guide!

Booked this tour in Luxor as my bf and I had just one full day to visit as much as possible of this city.
Mahmoud Nafee was our guide, we had an amazing day. We went to the valley of the kings and karnak temple. He explained all the history that is behind this country during faraon's ages.
We also enjoyed his company, it looked like we met a long time ago!! He told us a lot about Egipt nowadays, their culture, etc.
Visited a shop where you can buy some decoration stuff made of local stones.
We also had lunch together in a restaurant near Nile river.
It was great. 100% recomended!

Our day with Mahmoud Nafee was excellent ! We visited the Valley of the Kings, temple of Karnak and temple of Louxor. All his explanations were very clear ,we spent a very good time with many information on the different places we visited. I highly recommend to visit Louxor with Mahmoud who is very nice and pedagogical!

Probably the best tour I’ve had in Egypt! Saw all Luxor had to offer at our own pace. Mahmoud was very accommodating and knowledgeable on all the sites. If you want to experience all of Luxor definitely book this tour!

I have nothing but terrible things to say about this tour. The driver picked me up on time with a newer model car that was very clean. However, once we reached The Valley of the Kings, I bought my ticket and then Mahmoud (the tour guide) signals someone to come over with a DVD package. At this point, I figured out that the whole tour was going to be all about trying to suck out as much money from me as possible. And I was absolutely right. I was not interested in buying trinkets. I signed up for this because I truly wanted to see the beauty of Egypt. However, as soon as I told Mahmoud that I was not interested in buying this dvd set or going to any “factories” (aka gift shops), his demeanor took a 180° turn. He became standoffish with a very sour look on his face.
After leaving the Valley, he was mapping out our itinerary and offered a complimentary lunch on a USD $35 boat ride that had not been previously mentioned to me. After I declined that, he became even more sour. After lunch, he was on the phone with his boss and asked if I had reception on my phone so that I could write him a review right there on the spot. We were not even halfway through at this point! This made me feel very uncomfortable and should NEVER happen on any tour.
Because I declined all gift shop purchases, Mahmoud did a pitiful job in explaining any history of our location stops. At one point, he even pointed to 2 pillars and merely said, “See, that one is taller.” I was fed up at this point and had had enough. I asked Mahmoud to end the tour early and take me back. He then had the nerve to ask for a tip, proving once again that his only objective was to try and squeeze every penny out of me.
Mahmoud was a horrible representation of the Egyptian people and should absolutely not be giving these tours. To make guests feel so uncomfortable is absolutely shameful.
My advice: go with a more well-known tour company! It’ll seem more expensive, but it’ll end up being cheaper because all of the location tickets are included in the total price. Do not sign up for this one!!
