In the middle of Region Veneto, discover the olive and wine excellences of the Euganean Hills.
For some time now, vines and olive trees have been cultivated in our territory, from these products true delights are produced: the wine and olive oil of the Euganean Hills.
Olive oil is certainly a source of pride in this area: we will visit an olive oil mill, where the producers will show us the art of olive oil production, and will guide us during the tasting of the final product.
We have then chosen for you, one of the best wineries in this area, where after a visit to the cellar, you will taste the typical wines of the Euganean Hills.

We enjoyed the olive oil and wine tour from Venice. The train was very nice and Chiara, our guide, picked us up from the station. We drove through beautiful countryside and enjoyed a tasting at an olive oil center. We ended at a winery with a tour of the vineyard and a tasting around the table with the vineyard owner. It was like having wine with old friends. Chiara was so friendly and welcoming. She told us a lot about the area and made our day really fun. Would recommend!

The tour with Lo Vivo was quite the experience. The extra virgin olive oil tour of Evo del Borgo, and wine tour of the Loreggian Wine Estate was for us undeniably, the unforgettable, quintessential Italian experience. This is what one favours travel to this country for - the food, the warm and accommodating hospitality and its people; the pristine countryside, with its rolling hills of wine estates and olive trees, and the constant exchange of "Grazie" and enthusiastic response "Prego" point to a culture embodying the attitude of gratitude. Wonderful!

Martina was a superb host, from the time we arrived from Venice, she took gentle charge and guided us through the sites as she drove to Evo del Borgo. Did we forget to mention that she surprised her mother, whom we picked up on the way from her restaurant, with a day out shared with total strangers? It felt natural, despite the language barrier and constant interpretation by Martina, it was a magnetic camaraderie, with Mama jumping in with little quips of the tour that she felt her daughter had missed out on. Italy at it's best. Laughter and ease followed.

At Evo del Borgo, we saw the olive oil manufacturing process. Preservation of flavour, aroma, and the true beauty that olive oil is. They even have a brand called Moonlight, where olives are picked on full moon nights and processed, and you can taste the difference between this oil and the rest. No hesitation in picking up a bottle that was reasonably priced.

Martina then drove us to the wine estate, where Silvia, the owner and a qualified Viticultursit and Oenologist, met us upon arrival. She gave us a detailed vineyard tour, showing us vines up to seventy five years old. Seventy five! Through carefully preserved family tradition and constant adaptation, this vineyard has perfected their wine making that culminates in several variatals. The most notable one for us was the Moscato: double fermented and aged to perfection, resulting in a balanced fizz, and dry, flowery-citrus aroma. Of course, we picked a bottle of this as well.

To summarise, if you're considering an intimate olive oil and wine tour in the Veneto region of Italy, then look no further than Martina and Lo Vivo! Attention to detail, a rich history in culture, stunning architecture, and an explosion of flavours that sums up just this one region of a beautiful country - this is it.
