The tour in general is very nice and recommended, super credits to Antonio and Nancy. Although the pick-up takes a bit time, the car is late due to traffic without notice, so we can only try to contact the call Center, luckily they are helpful so we finally find our tour guide. Excluding the transportation, the visit at Pompeii takes around 2.5hours, a bit short but just enough to include the highlights in Pompeii. Nancy gives a detailed introduction to the site and the buildings. Highly recommended if you want a hassle-free tour to Pompeii, a tour guide is a must for a comprehensive visit. Would like to try other tours from WorldTours in the future :)

A great experience. Communication for pickup was excellent and arrived promptly. Journey was quick and when we arrived, we were soon put with our English guide.
Our guide was fantastic, she took us round to view the main areas - theatre, baths, forum etc - and had excellent knowledge. She pointed out small things, like the children’s graffiti on some of the walls.
Would highly recommend for a short guided tour!

Gabriel Casavega is the best tour guide. He is knowledgeable, entertaining, and super helpful. He knew about Pompeii, but also provided info about Napoli and other places( our next destination was Florence and he sent us a link of must do). I can’t say enough about Gabriel. He is the best. We adore Gabriel and will be back some day to do the Amalfi coast with him as our guide.

Our driver Bruno and hour hostess Maria were very friendly and professional. Bruno picked us up at our hotel and was punctual, very friendly and dropped us off in the city centre on our return at our request. Maria provided a very informative commentary on the way to Pompei. The English speaking archaeological guide provided for our group tour came across as very knowledgeable on the history of Pompei, however, we found that he was very difficult to understand. This is not a reflection on the tour company, but the archaeological park. Notwithstanding, this is the second tour we have done with Worldtours Italy and we are happy to recommend them.

This is very much a highlights tour for those that can be bothered to organise it themselves. It would be MUCH cheaper to get the train from Garibaldi and then pay for entry and do an audio guide tour on your phone. HOWEVER! With 2 teenagers this was perfect. We got picked up and dropped off by minibus (not air conditioned which was a shame) and were taken to our guide who whizzed us around the must see bits in 90 mins. No time for the teenagers to get too hot or bored. It was well organised and we all really enjoyed it. If I went again I’d go for 3 or 4 hours and see lots more.
Just a warning though if you decide to go by train the campania express is quite an ordeal!!
