We'll pick you up at 6 AM in the morning from your hotel in Dubai. The shuttle transport will take you from the UAE and across the border to Khasab Harbor in Oman where our friendly team will meet you. En-route the drive, you can enjoy the panoramic coastal drive with spectacular views towards the Arabian Gulf.From the port, you can board the traditional Omani dhow for the full-day cruise into the spectacular Khor Shimm in the Musandam peninsula. You also get to see the coastal villages as we cruise along and there's a very good possibility to sight the playful dolphins and many other exotic marine creatures. We will anchor at the famous Telegraph Island - it is a repeat station built in 1864 by the British to connect Bombay (India) with mainland Britain by an underwater and overland telegraphic cable passing via Basra in Iraq and Turkey. You will definitely enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the pristine and calm waters Telegraph Island. Lunch & Refreshment are served on board.

Wonderful day trip across the border to Oman seeing fjords and sailing on a dhow with dolphins swimming along. Lots of swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. Fun and fabulous day trip from Dubai to a very different scenery.

This was an incredible excursion.
Do not be dissuaded by the long day. (it was worth getting up at 6am). Do not be dissuaded by concerns of safety. (For Americans, Oman is the oldest American ally in Arabia. Northern peninsula of Oman is FAR FAR away from the Southern separate part of the country that borders Yemen. Very safe and very gracious people.) Do not be dissuaded thinking this is a “boring” excursion. Take in the sights along a tranquil ride on a dhow boat. It was relaxing and restful. And the sights of the mountains and the clean water. Now I know why Musandam is called the “Norway of Arabia”.
The pick up was seamless at our hotel. Clean vehicle. Gracious driver. Border process was as easy as possible with the help of our driver. The tour company met us upon arrival at the boat. Welcomed us and escorted us to our boat. The crew were kind and informative with the sites as we cruised.
Lunch was served after our chance of swimming in the waters. Fish everywhere! And dolphin! LOTS of dolphin! Lunch was delicious and plentiful. Soft drinks, water and fresh fruit available throughout the day. (stay hydrated!)
Truly one of the highlights of our week long visit to Dubai and the region.

Was very nice. The place is amazing. We arrived to the cruise at 10 am. I was expecting be there until 17/18hs at least but 16hs we were already back in the car.
But the rest, cruise, food, place was amazing and really nice day

none a lot of travelling and waiting around.
Did not mention there was a 3 hour travelling time either way, and lots of waiting around at the boarder.
The cruise from the iteneray were was given was 10 - 4. In fact the cruise didn't go till 11am and was back at 3pm. with two stops for swimming for an hour each. A waste of money and time. Nothing to see
