The trip was an inexpensive and efficient way to see two major sites (Mycenae and Epidauros) and the beautiful town of Nafplio. There was sufficient time to wander through the areas and I didn't feel rushed If you are lucky, Theodore will be your guide. He is excellent. Thanks, Theo!

The only warning I will give is to make sure your phone is fully charged as the bus we were on didn't have charging capacity.

The overview clearly states "This small-group tour has a maximum of 20 travelers" but that was NOT true and it won't be for you either. We had 38 people on our tour and when we asked why, since this was supposed to be a small group tour, they said that in the fine details it actually states that there's actually 49 travelers. You have to click see 6 more in additional details and it's at the very bottom. This tour group was huge and there were no

What a fun day trip! I really enjoyed this well organized day. I would have loved about 15 more minutes at each archeological site, but overall, a fantastic day with comfortable transportation and an excellent guide (Chrysa).

Our guide, Vivian is actually a college graduate with a degree in archeology, she gave a great history lesson and very organized sequence. We felt we walked through the history book. The few stops we made were all very good timing for pee stop and snacks.

All three stops were fantastic but the last one at the Theater of Epidaurus was the one we most looked forward to. It did not disappoint! The tour guide was great and the bus driver took us on a wonderful route through the pine forest on our return to Athens. The price was extremely reasonable as well. All in all, a great day!

Ioulia was a fantastic guide! The sites were absolutely stunning, but I wish more time was given at Epidaurus - it’s huge! I booked this because I didn’t want a guide, and it was perfect. Nice air conditioned bus, and my fellow travelers were all very nice too!

The journey starts with a quick stop at the Corinth Canal for some photos and a short break from the drive. Be aware that you will be on the bus for a long time, but the guide was very attentive to our comfort, so just enjoy the ride on the way to the attractions.

The first place we visited was Mycenae. Here we had plenty of time to explore the archaeological area, as well as the museum and a small snack at the kiosk.

The ruins gave a good impression of how important this city was in its era, and it really was like stepping back in time! Our favorite part was the lion gate, which is the entrance to the area. Feel free to take some group photos here!

Before the bus moves on to the next stop, you get about 10 minutes to explore the Treasury of Atreus, and I strongly recommend using that time well for photos because the place tends to get a bit crowded when a bus or two stops here .

On to the next stop - Nafplio. Here we got around 2 hours, and it could have been longer! In the old town there is a lot to see, and a number of exciting places to eat.

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit the Bourtzi fortress (castle on the water), since lunch and exploring the city took more than ¾ of the time. We recommend checking well in advance which restaurants/taverns you want to eat at, as it can take a while time before you find the right one.

By the coast you can enjoy a good gelato like we did - all in all, a city with many surprises!

The last stop is Epidaurus, and here there is a lot to see - fortunately in good time! We first went to the Asclepion theatre, and wow - the acoustics here are good (for being so old anyway)! After that, we took a leisurely walk around the ruins in the area.

The whole trip was well worth it! A lot of your own time is planned, so you get an opportunity to learn about and explore the areas on your own.

Our tour guide also told us about the background of each monument on the bus tour, as well as some interesting mythological stories related to the areas.

If you are visiting Greece for the sightseeing and attractions, this tour is definitely for you! But if I can make some recommendations:

•If you are considering traveling outside the tourist season, it is absolutely worth it! There were already a lot of people at the attractions when we went, and this was in February!
•When it comes to attendance, the traffic in Athens is chaotic. So show up in good time!
(PS: There is a cafe nearby if you'd rather wait with a cup of coffee in hand and something to eat)
