1. Kusadasi
At the exit of the cruise port, you will be welcomed by your professional licensed local tour guide who will be with you during your private tour and tell you every point of the ruins you will visit. We advise you to meet our team 30/45 minutes after your ship docked to the port.
2. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
House of the Virgin Mary where mother of Jesus Christ spent her final years. Pope Paul VI visited the shrine in 1967, and 'unofficially' confirmed its authenticity. Pope John Paul II also visited the shrine in 1979. Pope Benedict XVI visited this shrine in 2006. While their visiting, they gave some gifts for this shrine that you can see during your visit.
3. Ancient City of Ephesus
UNESCO listed place Ancient City of Ephesus that is one of the best well-kept Greco- Roman ancient city in the world, famous with Odeon where the music concerts were organized, Domitian Temple that is one of the first temple dedicated for a human, Celcus Library which was the third biggest library in the ancient time, Amphitheatre where is one of the biggest amphitheatre in the world with 24.000 people capacity and St. Paul preached to Ephesians, Marble Street, Roman Baths, Fountains, Temples, Agora, Love House, Public Toilets, Terrace Houses (Optional) famed with gorgeous mosaics and wall paintings....
4. Ephesus Terrace Houses
The Terrace Houses complex in Ephesus consists of luxurious residential villas, located on the northern slope of Bülbüldağı Hill, next to Curetes Street and opposite the Temple of Hadrian. So far, two housing complexes - Eastern and Western - have been excavated. They were built according to the Hippodamian plan where the roads transect each other at right angles. The excavation work of the Terrace Houses started in 1960. The restoration of the houses is an ongoing process and every year there is something new to admire there.
5. The Temple of Artemis
Artemis was the Greek goddess, the virginal huntress and twin of Apollo, who replaced the Titan Selene as Goddess of the Moon. The ancient temple was built around 650 BC to the cult of Artemis, was constructed on a site already sacred to the Anatolian Mother Goddess,Cybele. The temple was financed by the wealthy king of Lydia and marshy ground was selected for the building site as a precaution against future earthquakes.
6. The Basilica of Saint John
You can see Saint John Basilica from a distance when we visit to Artemis temple. It is believed that the Evangelist St. John had spent his last years in the region around Ephesus and buried in the southern slope of Ayosolug Hill. The tomb of St John was under the central dome of the basilica.
7. Kusadasi Shopping Center
You are able to see local handicrafts and experience local shopping if preferred. 8. Kusadasi Castle
Also called Pigeon Island! One of the earliest settlements of modern Kusadasi. We will pass by and have an opportunity of seeing it in a distance. It is located very close to the Port, you might be able to have time after your tour if you are interested.
9. Kusadasi
At the end of our tour, we will return to the Cruise Port. PLEASE NOTE THAT: There are several Ships with different arrival and departure times. Great experience. The stop at the rug-weaving school was very informative. At the end, however, they really put pressure on to purchase. The guide was able to share a lot of information at the House of Mary and at the Ephesus ruins. Overall, a great tour and we would do it again.

We had an amazing day with Fatima touring the sights in Ephesus! Fatima is very knowledgeable about her country and its history and culture. She spoke English very well and was so kind in accommodating our physical limitation.

This was by far the best tour experience we’ve had!!!
Our guide Ismail Kuscu was great, friendly, polite and spoke very good English. He made accommodations to fit our needs throughout the tour. We visited Ephesus, the house of Virgin Mary and the Basilica of Saint John. These were beautiful places and a must see. He also took us to have a local home cooked meal that was excellent and there we had a complete demonstration of how they make rugs out of silk and wool. We also stopped at a ceramic shop to see how they make and decorate their beautiful pottery. Overall a great and complete tour and I highly recommend it!

Excellent! It was the best experience we have since we got into Turkey. The tour was well organized and they were knowledgeable and very informative. You can ask any questions from the history of the site or the culture and shopping of course.

We had an amazing experience. The tour 100% went above and beyond our expectations. We saw all of the sites we were interested in & Zeki made sure we had an optimal experience. All items were tailored to our needs/wants. We had a family member with some walking difficulties & Zeki adjusted the tour to meet the need while still giving options for others in our group. If you are questioning where to book, this is your place.

Ismail and Fatima could not have made this tour more enjoyable. When 4 of our group had to cancel, the remaining 4 stayed with the private tour. Best decision we ever made. Fatima was at the pier when we got off the ship and it was non stop til she returned us on time. Our primary destination was to attend mass at the House of Mary. Fatima planned the tour around that. She had a full day for us with no hidden costs. Included were all admissions as well as lunch. Fatima was very knowledgeable and she was a pleasure to spend the day with in Turkey. Also when still in the planning stages, Ismail was very responsive to emails and suggestions for the tour. Would definitely recommend Best Turkey Tour for your shore excursion or if you plan a longer stay.

We were met at the docks by Fatima and taken to a very comfortable and clean minibus for our private tour. Fatima was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide giving us all the info on the sights we saw plus we were given all the time we needed at each stop.
The driver was perfect and we felt completely safe with him.
The restaurant we were taken to for lunch was one used by locals and the food was amazing and the drinks that were extra a very reasonable price.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will definitely give them a call if we come back.
