We took a day tour from our cruise ship in Izmir to Ephesus with Fatih. We saw the (probable) home of Jesus’ mother Mary and walked through some incredible ancient ruins of Ephesus. The journey from the port lasted an hour but I thought that was part of the charm of the tour, as we were able to see small villages and many farms in this beautiful country. Our accommodations were wonderful. We were in a large comfortable van. And Fatih is an amazing tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and also charismatic. I don’t know if you can request a specific tour guide but I 100% recommend him!
We took this tour on New Years Day. This is definitely the off season. The weather was a little chilly and rainy but there were zero crowds and I understand it gets hot and busy in the summer months so we felt lucky to be there this time of year.

Ephesus is a very cool place with great history and culture! Our tour guide Fatih has done an amazing job, he is both fun and smart and helped us to see as much as possible with the time we had.

Fatih was an amazing guide for 2 days exploring Ephesus and Pergamom. Not only did we see all the highlights, he shared with us many special local experiences from lunch to seeing how unique local products were made.

Personalized trip with knowledgeable and helpful tour guide (Fatier), not only about the sites / history but also the local know how / best local restaurant in town. We enjoyed the tour a lot and learned about Turkey, about Turkish culture etc. Hope to introduce this to my family members and friends soon.

Our tour guide, Zeynep Bozdag, met us at the ship (early as was recommended) and we began our tour far before the tours arrived from the cruise ships, enabling perfect photographs. Afterwards, we visited other sites, had a wonderful lunch and we back at the ship by 3:00PM, a total of 7 hours. Our guide was knowledgeable, courteous, very professional and spoke excellent English. She has to be one of their best as I cannot imagine anyone being any better.

We traveled with my 90 year old mom who used a mobility scooter. Fatih was a wonderful guide who made the ancient city of ephesus accessible to my mom. He had a lot of great information and was very friendly. He took us to unique shopping spots where the merchandise was made i the area. We also went to a shop and tasted olive oil and other turkish goodies. Finally he took us to a school
that has a farm to table lunch. Overall we had an amazing time. Highly recommend Fatih

We were greeted by our guide, Denizhen, who was waiting for us at the designated location. Denizhen was highly articulate and gave detailed accounts of every site we visited. His knowledge of historical facts of Ephesus was extremely impressive. We enjoyed the small group tour as we got all his attention. I fully recommend it.

First of all, this is our second trip to Kusadasi and the third time we booked with Ephesus Port Tours. The company is 100% reliable, on-time, knowledgeable, courteous, and provided clean cars with safe drivers. Their guides are the same -- knowledgeable, personable, well groomed -- everything and more, as was ours.
But you can feel that "but" coming. Our guide was wonderful but she lost her focus at some point. She did everything we asked for in terms of stops. But at lunch, she left twice and was distracted when she came back and was checking her watch and then asked us to submit our reviews then and there. Awkward, but forgivable (we all have lives to live).
That said, its a two-way street. It's a two-way transactional street. We pay a lot extra for our once-in-a-lifetime experience; the guide gives up their day and their time to escort us. We both give a little to get a little. So It feels fair to note a less-than-perfect day. We wanted a local lunch experience after a terrific custom tour of Celsus and Artemis and the village of Selchuk/Seliinc (sp?). The village and the ruins were perfect -- she was great. But the lunch was a rehash of our previous trip -- and we should have resisted. I love this company and loved our guide but we're all human so book Ephesus Port Tours but just remember that even with the best we sometimes have to assert ourselves. We have every right to make every 4-star day a 5-star day.

Banu is excellent tour guide. She picked up us at the cruise port on time. She took us to House of Mary before the big crowd came. Then we went to Ephesus archeology site. She explained all the major sites including the Terrace House very well communicated. Then we visited the archeology site of Artemis Temple. She didn't loss any of us (a group of 10 people) until we were back to our cruise terminal.
