We’re not able to go as nobody at Viator informed us we would need to find some kind of transportation ahead of time. Cab wanted four hundred dollars to take the four of us from the ship at Livorno to Florence….. which was crazy.
So we didn’t go.
Shame on us for not realizing Florence was an hour and a half away…so be prepared…..find transportation ahead of time. I feel someone at Viator should have warned us.

This was a really nice walking tour. The pace was relaxing and our guide shared so much about the history of Florence. Just the right amount of time with our 15, 13 and 9 year old. Highly recommend to get an overview of Florence along with the much anticipated Statue of David.

A lot of information. Almost too much. Maybe ask the guests if they have questions once in a while. Viator, why would you schedule us into the Statue of David at 4:30, when the host should have been done with us by then?. Also be a little more upfront that skip the line still waits with other groups. In our case 30 minutes. Museum needs better time management.
