Our tour guides were Barbara (Baby) and Monica. Both were phenomenal. If you are going to go to Italy, a LIV tour is the only way to go. The guides are knowledgeable, friendly and they love their jobs. It’s great to have a small group too.

I felt the value for what we received was not worth the price. The cost of $153 each was considerable and it only included entry (and still had to wait in the rain) and a narrative that was interesting but could have included so much more.

Perfecto! We headed to Florence from Rome on a Friday and spent the weekend there with a side trip to Pisa. Due to a train delay, we arrived in Florence and headed straight to the tour after dropping the luggage off at the hotel. After dealing with that bit of stress, we met our wonderful guide, Elisa. All stress then melted away. Elisa was warm, friendly, funny, and an expert on everything Florence. We went from having very little knowledge of Florence, to feeling like locals in 3 hours. Not only is Elisa an expert on the history of Florence, she is also a student of art history. Her introduction of David will always be with us. My wife and I ended up being the only two on the tour so we were able to receive the private tour treatment. By the end of the tour, on top of all the sites, history, David, etc., we knew where to shop as well as where not to, where to eat, how to navigate the city, and numerous suggestions for things to do the rest of the weekend. When there are 3 leather goods stores and 5 restaurants on every block, this kind of knowledge can really help to maximize your time during a visit and let's just say we maximized for sure. Our weekend was absolutely fantastic and there is no doubt going on the tour with Elisa right away was a huge part of that. We also added climbing the Duomo bell tower to our tour. Elisa had our tickets for us and we climbed after the tour concluded. This was an added bonus as it was after sunset and the Dome as well as the city were all lit up and breathtaking. The tickets also allowed us to visit the Duomo museum the next day as well as the Cathedral and Baptistry. We are extremely thankful to Elisa and LivTours for our wonderful experience. Outstanding tour! The meet up spot was east to find and we were lucky enough to only have 4 people in our group. Sara went above and beyond to connect with us and share her love of her home town. It was easily apparent how proud she is of the history and culture of Florence, and this came through in her sharing of so much information about the city and sites. The Duomo and the statue of David were breath-taking. Sara made sure the tour was tailored to what we were looking for while also efficient and she made it so enjoyable.

Emanuela was a fantastic guide. The Florence tour was so interesting and brought history to life. Not rushed and saw many things we would not have found on our own. Very enjoyable and highly recommend!

There is SO much to see in Florence, 3 hours can’t really do it justice - that said, our tour guide Monica was incredibly well informed, entertaining and balanced some of the major highlights with short stories about smaller things/living in Florence that whet our appetite to return again someday. This was a lot of fun!

Very disappointing company! I would not recommend. We booked our tour and received booking confirmation from both TripAdvisor and LivTours. When we arrived to our tour as instructed, we were told that we would not be able to participate because the tour was overbooked. They said there was a "glitch" and we should have never been booked for the tour. We were asked to leave and not allowed to participate.

Silva was an incredible guide, providing the right level of information about such a deep history of the areas we explored. The meeting point was easy to find and Silvia handled a mixed small group of different demographics and interests so very well. A perfect duration too,… Highly recommended!
