I was a little apprehensive to do this since we had four teenage boys, one of whose is less than 5ft tall but I’m glad we did it.
Our guide was Raphaello who loves his city and knows it well. His excitement and knowledge made our experience richer as we learned things we otherwise would have missed. Two hours was enough to get a good taste of other areas to explore and see but I would recommend three if you can spare the time.
The office staff was lovely as well. I will say, this is not for an anxious person as traffic is nuts at times and you have to be quite bold in plowing through but that’s any city in Italy. No way around that!

The bike ride was great. They upgraded us to electric bikes-thank goodness. The view from the top was amazing!! The guide was very knowledgeable and the earphones worked well to hear the information. The ride showed us the main sites in Florence and by bike was very enjoyable (helped to burn off some of the gelato calories, ha)

We had an exceptional 3 hour tour of the Colosseum and Forum given by Andreas. We learnt so many interesting facts and he brought the Roman ruins to life in a fascinating and entertaining way. He was so knowledgeable and we learnt a huge amount. A big thank you to Andreas! This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Rome.
The only tricky bit was booking through Viator as the meeting place was confusing (the address given is actually a bar, but you meet across the road).
You need to take ID for the Colosseum and Forum tour.

My partner and I really enjoyed this tour on our first day in Florence. Our guide Francesco was local, super knowledgeable and very engaging. It was the perfect way to see the city. It was a small group and felt safe too. And also highlighted things we wanted to do on future days. Highly recommended.

We had a very knowledgeable and nice guide, Filipo, who guided us to some of the most important spots and informed very well about the Firenze/Toscanas history. It was really interesting to listen to him! We also had a ride up in the hill that gave us a fantastic view of Firenze. Many thanks to Filipo!

We were 2 couples celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in Florence and the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hr tour. Florence is a very busy city and it was a bit scary at times but the friendly, bubbly and very knowledgeable Julia kept us together and made it a great tour.

Crossing the bridge to the south side of the river. Learning all about the history and land marks, of Florence. Very diverse place, with wealth and people from all over the world. Florence cares about their people both now and in the past.
